The music for Celestial Park is, dare I say Epic. It is not "background music" it is the "soundtrack" for the land. Very cinematic. The addition of major sub-woofers is game changing.
Is the music in the entry and celestial park an original score or a medley of various scores?
Good.How is the atmospheric music?
Yes, it just looks like a hotel tower. Maybe it's unreasonable to expect hotel integrations to meet the level of Hotel Miracosta (although, should it be?), but this is really just a hotel tower with some decorations added to fit the land which is odd considering it serves as the centrepiece.Since the Helios functions as the centerpiece, they really should have built something better. It's so bland -- not much better than the Riviera. Even the concept art was significantly nicer.
Someone get Berk off the basketball court. It's like prime LeBron playing against 3rd graders when it comes to music, and well, everything.Isle of Berk music was good, especially on the flying wings coaster.
I really want one of those vinyls they are selling of the Dark Universe soundtrack but it appears that I’m going to have to be either very lucky and go the day they restock them or deal with the scalpersGood.
Dark Universe's in particular is amazeballs.
Is "amazeballs" an industry term?Good.

All original, but with themes from each land incorporated into the score near each portal.
I dunno. When it was revealed to me, I actually got a little teary eyed - its almost a bit overwhelming at first (and the amount of detail throughout the area is great -- even down to the shop signs with their kinetic energy)A lot of you are going to be disappointed when you go to Epic and find the entry portal look/experience nothing like what you’re saying it is.
I don’t disagree, but it’s a really, really cheap way to signal boost an offering on social media, while also cultivating a cadre of ethically-nimble yes men and women who know to never cross the Mouse and remain on message. While a clear violation of the employees' responsibilities, Disney and Universal's inability and/or unwillingness to deal with these social media personalities continues to be a problem.

Dark Universe has a vinylDo we know if Epic is going to be selling CD soundtracks like Disney used to?
It'll need to be on a wax cylinder or a 78 rpm record for the Victrola to be thematically correct.Dark Universe has a vinyl
This sounds like the score to Ed Wood he never got to make:It'll need to be on a wax cylinder or a 78 rpm record for the Victrola to be thematically correct.

Gives it more of a 50's sci-fi feel.I was fine with it until the theremin came in. That does not sound Dark Universe at all.
