Where is the love for this Attraction?
The show may have been changed and updated over the years, but it is still an Opening Day Attraction with a lot of history behind it.
Plus, it’s a great show in its current form.

I’m no history buff, but I really enjoy HoP.
A unique presentation.
It is a slice of Americana that harkens back to Uncle Walt’s interests in presenting this type of show to honor America.
It also gives audiences some time to reflect on what is being presented before them.
Some of it is rather profound when folks take the time to wake up from their AC induced slumber….

Perhaps the world is moving far too fast to slow down for a moment and enjoy this ‘hidden gem’ of a show.
It seems entertainment such as this is slowly being eliminated …which is a shame.

Not everything in the Park needs to be a E-ticket.
It is the mix of different Attraction experiences that makes the ‘Magic’ in the ‘Kingdom’.

It faded away along with decency in politics.

It's never been my favorite and I think part of it is being in the Magic Kingdom. When I am there I want fun, adventure, etc - and an escape from the real world - not to be reminded of it

I greatly prefer the American Adventure and I think part of it is being in Epcot vs MK

I’m glad it was there and I appreciate it being something Walt came up with but time has passed it by. As @communicorn96 said
replace it with Sam the Eagle's 3 hour grand finale.

I don't get this sentiment it all, its still an enduring showcase of Imagineering representing the legacy and history of our nation, no matter how much time has passed by. It's not outdated and has continued to be updated for all audiences to enjoy no matter sides.

We've had some laughs in this thread, but I totally agree with all this. I hope the show stays. I hope it keeps being updated to bring in the current POTUS with a short speaking role. It's a relaxing show to put politics aside and appreciate the collective efforts of all on stage. Great animatronic detail. Great theme and message. Great WDW tradition.
