Tiana's Bayou Adventure fits perfectly with River's of America and the Liberty Bell and it doesn't matter to them? Cars would of fit better with Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Beyond as a Desert Land than now you have swamp with northwest

Theu did have a general theme to each park. Epcot was built around a World Expo theme. Hollywood Studios was a movie studios and you have Animal Kingdom. The main thing is they are one time all have a unique feel each park. They have slowly gone away from that to the point where the new attractions coming don't fit the theme at all.
Oh right how could I forget Animal Kingdom as one theme and MGM Studios as Hollywood!
I believe that was partially true…. The hat didn’t come down until the Chinese Theater had a new owner.
Theme of animal kingdom: Humans interactions with animals, real and mythical. All attractions including the new ones still fit.
It wasn’t. At a minimum it would have meant that Disney built the center of a park based on a licensing agreement with a 12 year term. More importantly though, the Chinese Theater predated the relevant legislation and copyright protections by decades. If the problem was real it would have impacted most of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd not to mention a sizable chunk of Universal Studios Florida.

I find it funny in terms of clones people complain for Disneyland and Disney World however Universal makes sure each resort each coast has a form of the same land and nobody is complaining with them!
When I was researching it after making that post - apparently the ears for the hat were supposed to be Ferris wheels and the interior of the hat was going to house one man’s dream - it was going to sit at the site cleared for the Copperfield magic restaurant.
Isn't this the same mindset that nearly got the Tiki Room and Swiss Family Treehouse shut down (the latter only being saved when somebody thought of the Tarzan retheme idea) in Disneyland back in the 1990s?

There is absolutely a difference when you're just talking about general flow of the space, which many are. More guest spaces can mitigate people clogging up the Big Thunder dead end, but they can't eliminate it.
Small mercy is that it is on the edge of the park. Yes, you have to see the construction walls during construction, but at least the construction won't be in the dead centre of the park like it was at Epcot. Tropical Americas and Monstropolis will at least be in closed off areas too so again, it's just passing by the walls rather than having to go around them. I remember when New Fantasyland construction began in 2010. The walls were noticed but they didn't ruin my trip. I think it was only when New Fantasyland opened without Seven Dwarfs that the construxtion began to make a real impact and that shouldn't be the case with Cars & Villains unless the 2nd Cars ride opens after the main Cars
The most significant long-term impact will probably be to the train. There'll likely be a very long section of fences for at least half a decade. Rivers of America should only be blocked off for a couple years, and after that, the in-park walls should only be visible along the main path-to-be into Villains when approaching the new Cars attractions. That said, I have a feeling Tomorrowland's going to have some significant construction at some point over the next decade too.
