Is it possible the factory contains the ride a store and a meet and greet location? They have to meet somewhere. Though my money's on PizzaRizzo.

True but I can’t imagine where else the meet and greet would go and pizzarizzo is just a tad too big for a meet and greetThat's a lot to ask for that space.
That’s a possibility. Maybe outside to the left or right of the entrance too. There’s also a gift shop space that I think was last used as a Christmas store. Is it possible the factory contains the ride a store and a meet and greet location?

I hope not I would rather it be put that thing back where it came from or so help me: the musicalOr, MV3D hosts Monsters Inc Laugh Floor to open room for a New Tomorrowland as was teased at the end of the D23 intro
Ooh omg that would be awesomeI hope not I would rather it be put that thing back where it came from or so help me: the musical
And they could remove laugh floor because they don’t want monsters inc. in 2 parksOoh omg that would be awesome
A fully-fledged version of that? I might just be okay with losing MV3d for that
They are demoing the Stage 1 Company Store. I am talking about the It’s a Wonderful Shop that is between Mama Melrose and PizzaRizzo. They hosted Santa meet and greets there for during holidays. I assume it will be repurposed for Monster merchandise but they may carve out some meet and greet space as well. They are destroying both currently existing stores
Looking at the concept art I guess it’s possible? Seems the outdoor seating area might be taking over that spot but I could be wrongThey are demoing the Stage 1 Company Store. what's the possibility of the monsters inc show being a live stage show, as opposed to a film experience?
My assumption is the only physical building changes are the demo of the Stage 1 store building and the new building for the Door Coaster. The rest of the buildings just get an overlay. Just my assumption based on the layouts and the art. Concept art is not intended to be an exact model so it’s possible there are other changes too. I assumed the Christmas shop building would be repurposed as Monsters gift shop but it could also be used for a meet and greet.Looking at the concept art I guess it’s possible? That would be interesting. I would hope at a minimum that if they go with a 4D movie it includes some physical set pieces like MV3D did.I am hoping for a mix of elements - or at least some live elements.
Something similar to the Bourne show at Universal where they really seem to go in and out of the screens (but here would be in and out of the door worlds)

There has to be some space back there for this guyI don't think that space has the room backstage for anything like this (right?). Purpose built 4-D show like this usually have the screens more or less built right against the back wall with no dressing room space for live actors and no stage wings for storing props off stage. A show like MILF could work because there is probably more room in the back of the theater (I assume they have a full projection room which would have a bit more space for someone to sit), but anything with live actors on stage would take significantly more efforts.

I agree that it would take a more substantial rework of the building to convert to a full stage show and I don’t think that is likely. A hybrid show with a movie but some physical actors and/or set pieces is still a possibility though.
So with Tough to be a Bug scheduled to close March 17 and the new Zootopia show scheduled to open Winter 2025 we now know a 4D movie retheme takes less than 9 months to complete. With MV3D scheduled to close in June that means it’s reasonable to assume that if they wanted it they could have the new Monsters show in its place open by Summer 2026. I’m not saying that’s the plan but it’s a possibility if they really decide to open the land in phases.
I don’t believe it’s been pointed out, but with the closure date announced we now know Disney’s direct response to Epic Universe’s opening will be closing Muppets.
I love it when people come on here and say strange “rumors” that make zero sense. There are multiple things I could say.
