I was thinking back to what Imagineering did with the Ichabod Crane silhouette window addition in Liberty Square and how something similar could be used in Monstropolis to add more life to the themed building facades and monster apartments. Think it'd be a fun addition. Monsters shouting at one another, one from the building to another at street level. Or have one stepping out onto a balcony to water their porch plants. I just hope it feels lived in and active. Probably asking too much but I think it'd be a nice way to incorporate some kinetics and life into the land.

That would be really cool. If it was even mildly interactive even better. I love the talking head bit at Diagon Alley Universal. It’s just a little touch that adds to the experience.

That would be neat - and shouldn't be too hard as could just have a tentacle reach out or something ... doesn't need to be full on animatronics

That would be fun - could be something like the Ducktales game at EPCOT or the bounty hunter game in Galaxy's Edge

At a minimum utilize MB+ and have it vibrate when monsters are close or something

Things like this should be going on in Galaxy's Edge.

Yes! Love this idea. If nothing else, widows as tv screens that show monster life inside the apartments and store windows. An
Ice cream shop would be a fun addition over here too.

The creature stall has a window like that
There are also droids outside the droid depot that have a minimal amount of movement. They are behind a railing so you can’t touch. It would be cool if Monsters had some minor show elements built into the building facades too.

They also added Muppets to HoP at one point so there’s some precedent for this type of thing.

They're interactive (in a limited way) if you do the SWL app.

what's the possibility of the monsters inc show being a live stage show, as opposed to a film experience?
The official announcement said theater show so that could be either. My gut feeling is a 4D movie due to the existing setup but when they decided to replace Bugs with Zootopia they called it a 4D movie from day 1 so who knows. Disney may not even be 100% sure at this point.
