Think about it, both Rock n Rollercoaster and Tough to be a Bug will outlive MuppetVision 3D. What a weird version of the time line we live on.

It's probably just going on Disney Plus sadly. I really hope the villains show has a limited run so Muppets can move in but it seems unlikely at this point.I’m still curious about what the afformentioned “creative conversations about preservation” will turn out to be, if anything? I would’ve been sure they would’ve announced it the same day as the closing date.
Hope it’s something and not lip service.
I think if it was simply going on Disney+ and it was deciced, it would’ve been announced today along with the closure to soften the blow or some thing. Unless I’m reading into it too much, maybe they haven’t decided yet? It’s probably not moving somewhere, but maybe imagineering is fighting about it?It's probably just going on Disney Plus sadly. While it's unfortunate that's happening to Muppets, it makes sense. Look at today's average guest and some of the posters on this board. They don't care about Muppets muchIt's probably just going on Disney Plus sadly. I really hope the villains show has a limited run so Muppets can move in but it seems unlikely at this point.
Is it really cost cutting if they're building a massive roller coaster and retheming the whole land? Wouldn't the cost cutting measure be to just close Muppets with no plan to replace it like with Rivers of Light for example. The fresh smell of cost cutting.
We’re lucky that we’re even getting muppets rnrc at all. Though I do think Len testa mentioned something about “other mupppet projects at imagineering being in development” on these boards a while agoWhile it's unfortunate that's happening to Muppets, it makes sense. Yes, it is still cost cutting. The reason people didn’t expect the closures so soon is because they have a whole building to build. The scope of work for the existing buildings isn’t so much that will take as long as the coaster. Closing now when the work won’t take as long means they’ve cut the operating expenses for the time being. They’re still silent on the new show which isn’t great evidence that they actually know what they’re doing with the theater. Is it really cost cutting if they're building a massive roller coaster and retheming the whole land? Remember it’s not over till it’s over there’s still hope! It's probably just going on Disney Plus sadly. I really hope the villains show has a limited run so Muppets can move in but it seems unlikely at this point.
News on closures:
To make way for the monsters, the Grand Avenue area will begin a phase closing in May, with the last day to dine at Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on May 10. Following that, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will close, with the last day to experience both locations on June 7.

It’s okay everybody, the coke stand is safe!
What are you gonna be saying when everything they said is coming arrives just as they said it would? You’re putting all your weight on something that is nothing more than an assumption on your end based on very little (if any) fact.So the theater will sit empty for three or four years, if not forever.
And people still believe the RnRC “announcements.”
Disney is trash.
Go to Tokyo.Me trying to pretend to not be thrilled and excited so I can show support to my Muppet fan companions.
Real talk I am sad to see it go but…I mean look at my account, I cannot wait for Monstropolis. It’s literally all I’ve ever wanted from Disney.
I don't think there was anything intended for Sci-fi to close..Don't they share the same kitchen with ABC Commissary..Even better this confirms Sci-fi Dine in is safe
Yeah, I’m just making an informed judgement based on the company’s history, their words and action, the policies of the US government, an extensive knowledge of business history, and some understanding of economics. What are you gonna be saying when everything they said is coming arrives just as they said it would?
