I really don’t think Starlight will have a pop, beat thump soundtrack like Paint The Night. So far everything we’ve read and seen from the concept art does not give that vibe at all.

I watched a video of Spectromagic last night, and I kind of hope they don’t go full Spectro with the soundtrack. Compared to Electrical Parade and Paint the Night, it was, less interesting compared to them.

The Spectro open and finale are my favs. Such an opulent, grand, classicaly magical sound.

I doubt they will go full Spectro or MSEP. Instrumental is not something they like to do now a days. I’m personally torn on what I want the soundtrack to be as part of me wants the grand, magical, waltz type soundtrack but the other part wants something fun and upbeat.

Maybe it just looks like they used a similar vibe when creating the new float. They're very different when you look at them with the structure. I think they're definitely taking inspiration from the Dreamlights float for the new one.

In this case it looks like the Starlight version will be better and have more lights than the one in Dreamlights lol which is surprising.

Since the Blue Fairy is a big nod to MSEP, I hope they are remaking a float or two from Spectro. Id like to think there is a good chance since they said there will be Easter eggs from past parades.

Personally based on this concept I think ours looks better
