EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Think about how amazing V1 would be now with LED, projection mapping, AA advancements, and sound upgrades to the original ride.

That is the only acceptable way forward. Fully immersive reboot of the original with today’s innovation.

But we all know what will happen if Iger and his budget get anywhere near this ride.

IP, Value Engineered, creatively void story, 70% dead space, that will fall apart in 2
weeks.

Genuine question but is this still an attraction?

Shameful.

What next bringing back Captain EO ?
A mix of Money, Disney being hesitant to spend on something not attached to an ip, and a 4.0 consistently having to fight for the green light against bigger projects that would be more flagship additions to the resort and easier to market. No excuse this shambling corpse has been left around this long, especially with how much figment merch makes.

This is along the lines of what I usually what I say to illustrate to my GP friends about how bad of a switch this was and how bad it is compared to what it was before:
“In the original figment, you go through multiple different highly detailed fantasy landscapes that each highlight a different way imagination can be used to have positive impact in the world. In the ride we have now, Figment farts in your face.”
Need I say more?

I hope that this f***ing monstrosity of a moon gets a small reference or cameo somewhere in whatever new version of figment we eventually get.
I like to think that Dream finder and Figment put him like that as an eternal purgatory for what he did

Does anyone feel more comfortable about a figment 4.0? I mean, we don’t know what it’s gonna be like, or when, but I feel as if it’ll be as faithful as possible to the figment we all love. If they were willing to fight for the country bears and the muppets to both stick around at Disney World in some form (and for the county bears to be faithful at that) and are willing to embrace classic Epcot for test track, they will hopefully give figment the same respect.

There’s a section dedicated to what is rumored for imagination in the rumor tracker by @Moth but i don’t think any of us know what to expect for a JII 4.0. At least I don’t. https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads...-the-green-parade-update.983018/post-10835797

I have very much seen it. I hope that the “significant improvement” talk is true, and we get a dreamfinder return. Non real track expansion is a shame, but whatever gives us bigger budget for the ride itself. I hope it is worth it. The rumors of inside out in magic eye popping up could mean that premierdrum’s rumors could be true. Here’s hopi
