Here's a fun snippet of Rachel's apology video from this week. It's all over Twitter, er... X.

"Insufferable" is only one word to describe this.

SPOILER ALERT: In this version of the recent events of her own making, Rachel is the victim. Not only is she the victim, but she is also a gift unto the world that people will line up to be witness to forever more. Snow White! 🤔 🤣

Miss Zegler may have genuine talent as an actress, but she has a lot of growing up to do. In the meantime, Disney or whatever other media company that invests hundreds of millions of dollars on her work needs to reign in the leash on her and manage her very tightly and closely. Because left to her own devices, she's borderline disastrous to media investments.

So this is a snippet from a larger video with no context just to make her look bad, has anyone including that X user even seen the whole video? Because I haven't and it doesn't seem to be online anywhere that I can find. If the video was so scathing why not show the whole thing and let people judge for themselves instead of taking a small snippet out of context.

So in the end people are commenting on a small snippet that may or may not have anything to do with any comments she made two weeks ago. This may not even have anything to do with Snow White or Disney. For all we know it may have something to do with her recent Broadway run that received high praise, and this may be a response to some haters out there. We just don't know, but to assume its an follow-up video to the apology post without seeing the full video is just looking for reasons to tear her down. And maybe it is bad and this is just a small sample, but at least get the entire thing without jumping to conclusions.

You know what's funny?

Fair enough. The video could be bull.

I find it unbelievable/hilarious how some people have lost their minds over a Disney movie and the actress they hired.

You find it unbelievable that people would be upset at an actress who trashed the OG snow white movie while filming the new one, took public shots at her costar, is anti-Israel (at a minimum), and told millions of people that they do not deserve peace? Weird.

I saw and heard everything she said about the OG Snow White and she said nothing whatsoever that came anywhere close to “trashing” it.

I find it strange that people care about the political opinions of movie actors. But I guess that’s who we attach importance to these days.

But if you did agree with my premise, it would make sense for some people to be upset about it, when presented to them, right?

Why is it strange? Actors have a megaphone. People are going to hear that and will have their opinions. This is a Disney forum, so we are going to talk about it.

Even if I accepted your premise, the vitriol expressed by some posters here (much of it deleted as the thread progressed) is not normal adult behavior in my experience.

It’s quite surreal, isn’t it? I think they spend more time following and thinking about her than her actual fans do. And now they’re having to dredge up and misrepresent old videos just to keep the outrage going.
Outside of this thread she doesn’t get a moment of thought from me, I wish we had more interesting things to talk about but unfortunately we’re in a major Disney drought at the moment.

ETA it’s so sad to open this webpage and click “what’s new” only to see the same half dozen threads listed every single day.

Are we? There’s plenty going on at the moment in the world of Disney. Plus even if there is a drought, we don’t have to fill the void with fake news and manufactured outrage about Zegler.

Haunted mansion gift shop, DCL treasure, and upcoming movies… that’s all that’s new to discuss right now. The rest is rehashing Lightning lane for the millionth time, how quickly VQs sold out, etc. This is my go to website when I’m bored but there’s just not much to discuss right now.

Then why are you choosing to suffer? Why are you guys so obsessed with someone who need not have even the slightest bearing on your lives?

Because it's hysterical! You couldn't make this up if you tried, and it's very funny to watch play out.

The current video going around on X today is a year old, but she's addressing her Snow White PR mess she created. And it's comedy gold. She's just like the Winged Victory statue, and everything she does in the future will create lines of people to witness it. She's just that good at what she does. 🤣

This is entertaining to watch. So much of today's media is so painfully scripted and tightly controlled by dogma, that it's genuinely entertaining when a self-absorbed starlet turns herself into a loose cannon like this.

I doubt I'll go see Snow White in a theater, but the pre-show so far from Miss Zegler is fabulous! 😍

How about this. When this thread first started I watched the 1937 animated movie. My first thought was that if Disney faithfully reproduced that movie and released it in theaters today it would appeal to no one.

That’s not to say the original is not a sweet fairytale brought to life in a groundbreaking work of animation. It is.

It’s just that modern audiences have changed. My 5-year-old grandson wouldn’t have even made it through the prince’s song. The dwarfs are portrayed as child-like (being forced to wash up if they want supper). The movie is one that was made for its times 87 years ago. It is mind-numbingly slow in its pace.

I figured that the new Snow White would be based on that character but would be updated for current audiences.

Then the craziness started and no one know what is coming out in March.

My only issue with the movie is that they didn't cast little people because of Peter Dinklage. I wish Disney hadn't caved on that. But if the movie gets good reviews I will go see it and bring the grandparents along.
