Quad biking along a dirt track? Except without an actual quad bike since it’s supposed to be kid friendly.

You can have it. I’ll give it a miss thanks.

People have really short term memories. As if they didn’t just see the giant turd they replaced the best ride in the Magic Kingdom with. Losing the entire ROA for this is such a huge mistake.

We have a potential 3 attractions on the chopping block.
I can’t imagine Disney announcing any major WDW projects rn with Cars, Villains, and Monsters all very fresh.

Best I can figure these would be already rumored (Muppets, Launch Bay, Disney Jr HOP), clones of things happening elsewhere in the world (Buzz Lightyear reskin, Coco boat ride to Gran Fiesta, Space Mtn from Tokyo), or easy reskins that can be done by 2026 (RnRC, HoP)

Speedway, HoP, and Pooh. Those are my three bets.

Anyway CHERABOG IN VILLAINS LAND YAY!!!
Good guesses but would those really be controversial? I mean HoP sure but do most people here like Pooh that much, especially if it means a potentially better replacement? And most are actively praying on Speedway’s downfall.

The best rides in the MK are still there, thankfully.

Jokes aside, this does look really cool and I’m excited for a unique new ride system to come to the parks. There’s obviously no theming here as its a test site so my focus is on system rather than presentation at the moment since we have nothing to go off of presentationally.

Imagination has three attractions composing it and would be highly controversial and 'make waves'. #JustSaying

I don't see The Land going if it was an EPCOT thing because Living with the Land and Soarin having relatively high popularity.

Buzz, Laugh Floor and Peoplemover, outside of the latter, doesn't feel controversial enough.

HoP is going to be controversial and would relatively explain why Mister WDWMagic dreads hearing that be announced.

Once again, doubt Tiki Room or CoP because of the Walt Disney branding on them.

Tower of Terror could be one of the three. Hm.

As long as they keep the speed they show in the video it will be good. For once can they push the boundaries with new systems.

full “mission breakout”? Or is it still
The Hollywood tower, just with no Serling?

In my ideal world, it's the latter. Breakout is never happening at DHS. I just feel any retheme or change to ToT fits the bill perfectly with how the news has been described to us.
I wonder if they are doing what they did with ROA and announcing a hypothetical Hop and muppets, or anything else tomorrow/monday morning via blog

They're obviously not going to build all of the scenery at a test site. Goodness.
Isn’t it supposed to be set in Frontierland though?

Still not sure what the ride vehicles are going to be though. Are they “quad bikes”? Which don’t fit thematically.

Anyway if they’re trying to entice people with what’s to come, why not use a green screen to show us the landscape? This is putting me off, not in the least attractive.

I guess what I’m getting at is that all I see is people riding quad bikes on a dirt track. I don’t see why I should be excited by it. What am I missing?

If they can match the speed and G forces of what they showed it will a very good attraction.

But not kid friendly. Shouldn’t something themed to Cars be rideable without a height restriction?
Radiator Springs Racers has a height requirement and that's not an issue because there are other Cars attractions without a height requirement. That's why they're adding 2 Cars attractions to MK. This is test footage for the major one, whilst the small family friendly attraction still remains unknown

This is test footage for the ride, not specifically what the vehicle will be. They're testing what the vehicles can handle/what terrain works best for the ride. They're not going to build a version of the ride just for tests, just to completely rebuild it in the park. It's like asking why the test footage for Cosmic Rewind isn't set in Space
