No citizens of Hollywood? No movie directors, no mention of the backlot tour?
Ugh. Dick Tracy Camo maybe? I mean, come on I can think of a million things off my head.
Some reference to, something like say Osborn.

Was this 35 years of Muppets, or 35 Years of The Studio's?
I mean there is more to the studios than muppets.
Dick Tracy is legally dubious (as Warren Beatty currently owns the rights that matter, and Disney hasn't owned any of it since 2005). The show that was at MGM is, depending on who you ask, either obscure or widely disliked. Other references would likely not be in line with current exec tastes...

Muppetvision wasn’t even there opening day…

Let the Muppets live a little, this is the most they're gonna do with them until the 40th.

A lot of their decisions make a lot more sense when you consider we care far more about this stuff than the decision-makers do.

I’m actually surprised they even had the muppets - they usually don’t act like they are big deal to have in the park.

It would have been fun to have a few Citizens appear, many of them still work for Disney so it would have only taken a phone call.

Why is no one talking about how the merch location was the long shuttered Muppet store?!
They’ve used it for other things as well. It’s very clear that Disney has no intention of ever bringing back this merch location. And honestly unless they choose to diversify their merch offerings soon, there’s really no need anyway.

The maps were gone around 11:30am or so, but I'm not sure if they restocked after that.
They were back for awhile a little after 3. But each anniversary seems to be getting worse and worse, it would almost be better if they just didn't do them at all. Even cast was not happy and being vocal how they should have had citizens of hollywood at least or something, just something. Disney does nothing anymore. But yet how many cast were they paying to manage that virtual store, must have been 50, ridiculous.

A dead 360-degree store smack dab in the middle of the part of the park that desperately needs *something*. Right now, Grand Ave serves little purpose beyond a place to drink overpriced drafts while awaiting your LightningLane return time. As jumbled as the Hollywood Blvd's east side shops are, they could absolutely split out a store concept for this location.

My point was that there is very little merch they could put here that isn’t already available elsewhere in the park. No purpose of staffing and maintaining inventory for this location.
