Honestly this go-away-green is pretty low on my list of Tomorrowland grievances. Might be among my favorite buildings in the land, actually.

There is a post on Twitter showing the concept art for magic happens. And people are speculating it shows a remodel of main street into mickey Avenue like Shanghai. Was this ever a rumor around here or just wild speculation?

That was being considered during Disney's anti-American DEI phase a few years ago. It was the same motivation behind removing the American flag float from MSEP. Thank God they didn't go through with that.

Since Free Comic Book Day is only a few weeks away, I been keeping super close attention to updates on the upcoming Unico: Awakening manga series coming August 2024 and published by Scholastic. The latest preview pages for Volume 1 that was scattered across the Internet lately really how vibrant and colorful the manga series will turn out.
Even the finalized drawn by Gurihiru is beautiful to look at and gives you a glimpse at the manga's tone and having a bigger scope than the original incarnation by Osamu Tezuka.
A preview edition of the first volume will be sold at local comic book stores and shops as part of Free Comic Book Day 2024 (May 4, 2024) which contains the manga's first 30 pages (224 pages in total).
As a person who owns the original manga and seen the various Japanese animated films and shorts. The Unico series has to been Osamu Tezuka's massive love letter to Walt Disney and Disney's Animated Films (specifically made during The Walt Era) to the point that the Unico Movies by Sanrio (Sanrio Film/Sanrio Animation) actually caught the attention of Disney themselves during the 1980s and chose to air both films during Disney Channel's early years.
Recently checked out the Edelweiss page for the first volume of Unico: Awakening and Scholastic/Graphix is going to give the new Unico Manga series a lot of marketing in the United States and other countries in the coming months.

I don't know the location where this picture was taken, but they do appear to have something on their feet. It looks like some type of Huarache or other type of minimalist shoe where its a very small insole between the foot and the ground.
