If this was permanent it would have already been gone the day hatbox debuted. Likely just a refurbishment on that effect.

Has the candelabra ever been an item to go through repairs in any of the Mansion's history? This is odd, I think this may be intentional scene retooling (Because this new addition clearly isn't working, especially next to another previously eye-catching set piece)

In this case it's not that deep.
It ran into an issue. It happened onstage - people who happened to be in the right Doombuggies probably got a weird show for a moment there. So that's being repaired.
It'll be back.

This is not the first time it has been removed.
Nothing is being retooled. It’s just being repaired.
What about the new addition do you think “clearly isn’t working”?
I'd answer with my own opine but it'd only derail the thread further. Plus it's been mentioned ad nauseam by myself and others. The missing candelabra is but another setback 'though minor compared to the

The missing candelabra has nothing to do with the hatbox ghost and is no different than any other temporarily missing show element.
The opinion of an incredibly small niche group of fans does not equal this “new addition clearly isn't working.”
Weird!? I don't recall saying it did. Reading is fundamental. Comprehension is a skill.
There you go discounting the opinion of others as if you're the authority on the subject. Feel free to put me on ignore if you wish. It might save you from having to endure opinions other than your own. For the sake of clarity however: I don't think the Hatbox Ghost addition works in this area. But like I said, it's been mentioned ad nauseam. Please, feel free to continue discussing the broken candelabra effect in the Hatbox ghost thread. Or we can just move on?
