True.

But on a serious note. This attraction should have been destroyed 20-30 years ago. What's all this nonsense about 'right of passage' ? No kids today want to go on a petrol car, with limited manouvering, around a poorly themed track.

Not sure how much more wrong you could be.

Kids are not a gage for quality. Kids will queue up for 'barnstormer' coaster too, or any other nonsense you put infront of them.

Let's face it - the reality is this attraction is only there because it's budgetry. No one feels bothered to do anything about it, update it, or just mothball it. It was an attraction built in 1971, that should have been moth balled around 1972.

Oh but the 'nostalga' brigrade' will be out in force. Oh it's our youth, etc Utter nonsense. These lot stop progress.

But... you still tried. And succeeded.

They would have to demolish the entirety of MSUSA to repair the speaker. It’s built into the structure of the entire land. But, there is a B-mode where the CM just screams at everyone to sit down and watch their bratty kids.
Worse than that. It's actually embedded into the concrete structure of the Utilidors. Replacing the speaker would mean having to tear out the entire utilidors system, aka, rebuilding most of the park.

Man this conversation went off the rails...
I'm sorry, but what I'm trying to say is that those insensible jerks on Twitter have absolutely no right to tell that young lady that she was a "lost cause" just because she did some minimal damage to the Lilly Belle's wheels. I'm still trying to forget about their rude over-reacting comments on Twitter... 😣

LOL! It is pretty done...they are doing nothing with the speedway, the Tron themed speedway isn't happening and the current version has been cut down to a quick loop and back to the station.... Another 21st Century TDO fail.
Once Epic opens and they are scrambling for ideas it will be reimagined, sure that will put the pressure on them, sure it will.....

it is harder and more expensive to play catch-up after the fact... they let the parks languish too long and now they are having to invest in bringing them up to date....Their underwhelming updates and lack of investment will be more noticeable when Epic Universe opens and Disney is touting a re-vamp of the Little Mermaid stage show...lol
