How long does a moving walkway take to rebuild?

So the moving walkway from the parking lots was under construction when we visited before Christmas... and it's still under construction in late March. I know Disney construction timelines are long, but c'mon!

It could be a problem with getting needed parts. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have two different friends in France whose house construction projects took months longer than anticipated because of delays in getting materials.

They are being replaced so the old ones have to be removed first and then the new one put together piece by piece.

I don’t know if you are regular visitor but they haven’t really worked for years (I think they have been broken more than working in the past 30 years for context) so a few more weeks isn’t the end of the world.

I'm not a regular. We visited before Christmas, but that last time before that was 2016. They worked then!

Hopefully soon - it did look like they might be nearing completion.
