NPH is a national treasure. 😁

I saw him host the Candlelight processional in 2013, it was amazing.

I love that he’s a Disney fan like us, he and John Stamos are my favorite Disney celebrity fans.

Disney should be better than comments like this where the excellence of the Parks should be on full display.

I doubt Disney had any input on the joke or knew he was going to say it, as a parks fan he’s probably just voicing his own feelings.

Different take. I have no love for Chapek, but…

It’s a cringe worthy comment. It feels lowbrow.

I’ve got nothing against NPH. However, Disney should be better than comments like this where the excellence of the Parks should be on full display.

It's almost like admitting that they know things aren't great. Plus, it's just playing to the crowd and, more particularly, Disney fans.

Yeah, I 100% agree. Chapek is gone, the evil has been defeated. He’s something of the past, and Disney is already scrubbing him from their record books. This “joke” just kinda feels unnecessary, especially for a company that tries to position itself as the “nice guys.” It was a cheap shot, and not really that clever of funny. It feels rather tasteless.

Though my feelings could be some residual bitterness of him tanking his role as The Baker in Into the Woods when I saw it this summer. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Or reaction to company policy and decisions under Chapek to which he may have had personal problems with.

At least that’s what The Zach said that Walt’s vision was for the acronym in an Instagram post.

Prices and park inconveniences were the main things guests seemed to dislike about Chapek. As if either of those affects NPH in the least.

This is like when brand addicts chat up hourly CMs about exec gossip. Man, the CMs probably don’t care, they’re thinking about having to shop for groceries after their shift. Bottom line: old boss same as new boss same as old boss.
