again i would agree with you for most guests but for me and my vacation style it wasnt the case.. especially with a child who loved the experience and for dinner definitely a nice relaxing break at around 5-6pm to recharge etc... as far as overeating im not one of those who will sit down and just eat to eat so yes at times i may have no gotten "my moneys" worth but if i have some apps and a nice dinner w dessert a coffee to go for mom and wife at the time a drink for daughter to go grab a snack or fruit during breakfast not to mention the price of the characters and the joy on my daughters face... am i really getting ripped off? using this years price of $55 for most expensive meal... how much am i really overpaying if i say down at a restaurant to eat? I guess living in NY prevents me from being sticker shock and realizing im on vacation and at Disney things will be expensive but again as i said i just came back from Poconos and Wildwood and my average cost per day for me and my daughter all in was 775 & 825 respectively and thats basically the same if not slightly more than what Disney is gonna cost me for me and my daughter in comparisonBecause the “value” to them is running you through the relatively cheap character buffets by the thousands.
It’s not serving you at brown derby or the Epcot menus…where the food is custom/better.
What I and others are also saying is if you went for a week and paid as you go…you end up coming ahead most if not Nearly all the time. We’ve studied this for along time now. Especially considering people eat less as the trip goes along.
So the advantages are pre-paying and probably overeating?
