The multigate problem is unique to WDW even among Disney Parks, imo. What do you do with hoppers in a hard cap/single price model? It works well at Universal now, but I have my doubts a purchase of the similar product will extend to Epic in 2025. Maybe it will, and they'll expand sales to account for all three parks. But if 2/3 of the day's purchasers are in Epic that day, their park time won't be as enjoyable as it is in present times. Even worse, imagine a majority of the hard cap purchasers are vying for Rise and Slinky, or Tron, SDMT, and "the mountains," away from the other three gates for some majority of the day. It’s because of the cost and what you require people to be comfortable with just to get there. That is the difference.
So how many hard cap $100 express passes do you sell? What do you say when half of not more decide they want it in magic kingdom?
Disney complaints aren’t like six flags complaints. They ruin the ambience and that is a big part of what they sell.
They’re trying to “ration”
Without openly advertising why they have to…and thread a needle and make profit.
Gonna be a lot more fights in fantasyland if they make getting on Pooh with the kids a dog eat dog world
On another note, which will be the recession enticement later this year/early next? The return of DDP and free dining, or free G+ for onsite guests?
