EPCOT EPCOT Area Loops/Pinar Toprak

I had heard from some source at some point that Pinar Toprak had been tapped to write new area loops for EPCOT, and I was wondering if anyone had any update or confirmation of that. For all that I don’t like about Harmonious, my favorite part is actually when it ends; that is, the post show music. It still doesn’t fit in EPCOT, and still doesn’t hold a candle to the Tapestry of Nations music, but I believe it is still a great piece of music. My question is, is this the music that Toprak wrote, and is there any truly clean recording of the music? I am sad that the classic EPCOT area loops appear to be dead, but hopefully she can at least make the loops she is writing have the same spirit that the anthem does.

The new BGM loop IS officially happening and was confirmed at the D23 event last Fall. Supposedly premiering in 2023 along with World Celebration.

Her gorgeous EPCOT anthem can be heard in full playing alongside a specific light show in the entrance plaza with the Spaceship Earth lights. It’s really stunning. (I felt more emotion watching that 3-4 minute sequence than all of Harmonious combined).

If not it can be similar to how The front entrance Legacy loop interweaved with the Pavillion's theme music

But, that new theme is pretty dynamic and works well, with the BoM light show..U can't help wondering if the lights that will be in the new Dreamer's Point area will also be incorporated wit it..

I just want some kind of fountain in that center area that could sync up to the music (Fountain of Nations style). That might make me feel good about the world celebration redo

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there seems to be a new Imagination music loop. It stretches from outside the rear bathrooms all the way to where the Butterfly Garden and Winnie the Pooh character sighting area are. It's a weird techno sounding mix of One Little Spark and Magic Journeys, and it isn't the one that plays in the bathroom. It also isn't the JIYI loop. Weird.

There was this on Twitter showing that besides MJoW there looks to be another water feature in Dreamer's Point closer to the Creations shop..

I wouldn’t immediately interpret this as water. The color used differs from the color of the water features in the Journey of Water area. I think they might just be alcoves for some of the seasonal displays and whatnot.

This is such a great BFM loop but that would be a weird change back if Figment is leaving.

I agree. Honestly, I feel like between the new logo garden and dreamers point (where the fiber-race looking green is) would be where nice rock and garden fountain would go. Not a show fountain, but still a nice water feature.

That is bizzare, for especially for magic journeys. Besides the 15 second shout out in EPCOT forever, have we heard anything about that since it closed at MK in the 90s?

Upon further digging, it's the very first part of the Journey into YOUR Imagination audio loop from 1999. Weird considering the rest of the area had already switched to the new temporary entrance a few months back. Bathroom loop is still in tact.

Off topic but have noticed the WSC plaza loop still includes many parts of old WSC pavilion loops no longer in use in their areas. Just like the IMAG OG loop, a little vestige to the past in small pockets. Also the OG Land loop in the upstairs bathrooms.

Then, when @DisneywithNick said it wasn't it, @marni1971 thought @DisneywithNick was denying that the track was not the original loop, when he was merely saying it wasn't what he heard recently.

ETA: It gets better. Then when @DisneywithNick confirms that what he heard recently was actually JIYI, @marni1971 may have taken that as admission that the claim that @wbostic12 's proposal was the original loop (a claim @DisneywithNick never actually made) was false!
