Magicband+ has apparently arrived and is being sold at World of Disney in Disney Springs - solid colors are priced at $29.99.

About flipping time! At least it looks like we'll have them for our June trip.

In addition to strangely releasing at one store, a non-news Sunday was also strange. Seems like they'd want to break when it can be more widely picked up more easily.

It also seems strange that guest services straight gives a two week answer (approximately at least, if not exact). Looking forward to the shops saying "Magic Band+ release, what's that?"

I'm a nerd for tech. The light ups, the interactive elements with the statues and fireworks. Not to mention in Batuu as well. And of course Disney souvenir from my upcoming trip. I get a new band each trip. I hope it lives up to the hype.

Personally I think they look cool, but I’m skeptical that the value of that, plus the limited extra functionality, is worth the extra cost + the inconvenience of having to recharge them nightly.

So no actually new functionality…just parlor tricks. They have reserved everything, only mobile ordering, and a line system that fills up at 7 am…but this is a thing?

Yeah I was being sarcastic. This looks a HUGE waste of money but I also think the same of the regular MB but hey each to their own.
