Some pictures of the progress as of today, 6/29/2013.

First two show the photo scrim, from across the lagoon, it does blend in relatively well. Better than just a generic brown wall/scrim. You can see the building rising in the second picture:

Here's some closer views of the building as seen over the wall from the Morocco side:

Also, the stage for Mo'Rockin has been moved over to the grassy area between Morocco and France, and given a canopy cover as well:

Need to say again how sick this makes me. These restaurants are running the lovely views around the lagoon and they're cluttering up the walkways.

Just what the hell is Disney thinking when they decide to make a place more cluttered and less pretty? That those things will pay off well in the long run??????

I think someone is pocketing a good deal of cash on this.

Thanks for those great pics. I wish they would release concept art, can't really imagine how this is going to look but hoping it doesnt dwarf and block the pavilion itself.

Same thoughts here. From whats been built already, I'm somewhat concerned the mistakes of Mexico are being repeated in Morocco; those concrete towers seem awfully tall, and it looks like they're not topped out yet...

I would hope the facade mimics the pavilion as to blend in well.
Although I'm not a fan of building on the lake side of the promenade, I do think this will look good when finished. It shouldn't block the pavilion, rather, it will add some depth to and complement the look of the pavilion, especially when viewed from the other side of the lake.

Disney doesn't do new stuff, people complain.
Disney does new stuff, people complain (usually the same ones).

Not in this case. People have the right to complain about adding a food place to World Showcase in this case because the park doesn't need anymore more food places. Epcot doesn't need to add more food places because of the amount of food places they got including having the most Table Restaurants of the 4 parks.

If this was MK, AK, or DHS adding a new table service, you have a point.

Theme parks are supposed to have people go there for Attractions. Epcot was originally designed for Attractions and food. The attraction part is lacking in world showcase.
