My senior trip in 2012 was 1054.00 and that was 4 day Premium tickets, hotel on-site (all star movies, lunch or dinner certificate without dessert, airfare, and ten dollars a day for breakfast money.

I'll explain the cost now, and I am using current pricing for 1 person:

Airfare: $397
Room (Standard): $102/night (Total: $612.00)
Room Tax: $87.36
Tickets: $272.64
Breakfast (4x):$10
Dinner Cert. (4x): $15
Total cost: $1196.36

So for now-a-days what costed me $1054 (the year before mine, the trip costed 1010, so I had a $44 increase). If I took the increase of $44 dollars between the year before and my trip and add it for 3 years after, the estimated cost would be $1186, only ten dollars off my estimate. I'll have the actual cost of this year's trip tomorrow.

Hey, I was in the marching band and I played at WDW. I never once felt like I was being exploited or being used as "slave labor". Now, NCAA athletes, on the other hand... But that's a topic for another day.

Not that I or my kids have, but lots of kids around here go down for cheer or band things in wdw. They universally have a blast!

As for blocking up the front entrance of the dolphin hotel with so many cars and people from a cheer squad event, and closing the bus terminal as well, I can't say I'm a big fan of the cherrsquads. Through the individual kids seemed polite enough. Just too many of them...

Matt_Black did you go to high school in South Florida? I ask because there was a Matt Black in the marching band at my high school.

No. Black isn't my actual last name. It's a pun, a play on matte black. I could have gone with Finish or Painting, but that would have no doubt angered some Elder God.
