1. Well, obviously there's the must-do sit downs (Teppan Edo, Be Our Guest, Kona for breakfast) but also the good QS locations, Seasons being my favorite. And everyone must enjoy a churro
2. Everything! At least get them on TofT, RnRC, TSM, Star Tours, the MK Mountains, 7DMT, PofTC, Jungle Cruise, IASW, EE, Safari. Dinosaur.
3. Fantasmic. And Wishes and Reflections of Earth, but mostly Fantasmic
4. I tried the Beverly soda thing on my friend. She actually liked it. That backfired.:hilarious: Not warning my friend about some of the scents throughout and the expression on her face while I was holding my nose was pretty hilarious.
5. I took my friend on basically everything, but if you're pressed for time, stick with the good stuff and avoid the "filler" attractions (SGE, Imagination, Ellen, etc.)
6. The monorail resorts at the very least. AKL too if you have time.
o_O She's a unique one...

What is on your list of things to eat?
Dole Whip
O'hana
Boma

What rides must they ride?
Long list, but here goes, It's a Small World, Pirates, Mansion, Spaceship Earth, Soarin, Test Track, Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, Rock and Roller Coaster, Dinosaur, and of course Expedition Everest

Any show must they watch?
Festival of the Lion King

Are there any things you'd do in order to tease them? (Such as taste the Beverly soda)
Beverly
Prime Time Cafe can be fun in this regard

Are there some things you'd go out of your way to avoid showing them? Or suggest to do something else on?
Avoid time wasters. It's why my show choices are limited. It's not that they are time wasters, but to someone you're not sure, it just slows everything to a crawl.

Is there a must see resort?
Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge, The Polynesian and The Contemporary

Any other things you feel they must do or try?
World Showcase
Be there for Park Opening at Magic Kingdom for the opening show
See Illuminations and Wishes and the night parade at MK
Drinking around the World?

I just had the pleasure of acting as tour guide for a cousin on a 5 day WDW visit. His last visit was back in the 80's, so there was all kinds of stuff he needed to see. My one goal was to be a good, informative tour guide without telling him so much that he would just wish I'd shut up for a while! I think we came out OK - we're still speaking after the visit!!!

I am hopefully bringing a newcomer to the parks this summer. I am rather excited to share with her all the amazing things Disney has to offer but, I am also just as excited to torture her with all the not so bright things in the parks such as Beverly. And thinking about it has made me curious to see what others would do to show a friend what Disney has to offer.

Side note-
Please, don't do a "Just let them do what they want." Of course we want to let them have their freedom, but hey, I can't let anyone I know leave Disney without ever trying a Dole Whip, drinking Beverly and riding Soarin'.

Unless of course I believe they would experience a better day at Universal than Disneys stagnating parks.

Fan boys, always good for a laugh at their unquestioning loyalty.

Haha, you're burning my bacon man.

There's nothing stagnant about a Disney park if you've never been.
Random made up facts on the internet assert that 70% of WDW visitors are new.

One simply does not burn the bacon.

Would you be more comfortable with the term dated?

I can live with dated. I'm actually very comfortable with that.

We can call WDW mid-century modest, just like my house.

Speaking of which, I bought a new old-stock, 48 year old chandelier last night for my dining room. My dining room might be inspired by Columbia Harbour House......
