Okay, so I have a few family members that pretty much swear you can't get a good meal while in WDW. This drives me crazy since I truly look forward to planning our meals and have had some of the best food there.
When you have someone asking for advice on dining which 5 do you feel confident throwing at them?
That's because they are right. Anything below a signature is barely edible, and the signatures themselves are grossly overpriced. I've had better meals in my hometown that cost less than QS restaurant. And I take food very seriously, believing in movements like slow food and farm-to-table.
That doesn't mean I haven't found things I enjoy, and if I had to recommend some of my favorites I'd say:
- Sunshine Seasons
- Tangierine Café
- La Hacienda de San Angel
- Brown Derby
- California Grill
However, do any of these stack up to restaurant I've dined at elsewhere? With the exception of CG (which price is an issue for me), absolutely not. Sorry, unless it's poulet rouge, a chicken entree should never cost more than $20-24.
