Favorite movies of all-time. I'll get a few repeats from others, but some new ones, too:

1. Groundhog Day - takes its premise to every logical, funny, interesting, and insightful place. The best movie ever produced.
2. Office Space - accurately (and hysterically) captures the IT world.
3. This Is Spinal Tap - few movies have better music, even fewer movies are funnier, and still fewer are so eminently quotable.
4. Airplane! - quite simply the funniest movie ever.

I've seen all of these but This is Spinal Tap and I have to agree with this list. Groundhog Day is one fine piece of American cinema, a movie that's a winner at all levels. It isn't my favorite movie because there are others I've enjoyed more, but it definitely is great. I also enjoyed Office Space, and don't get me started on Airplane!. :lol:

Good ones! I considered Aiplane! also, as it was my very favorite at one time in my life. How can one really compare Godfather and Aiplane, Blazing Saddles and Schindler's List? All are wonderful, but they are so different, its almost like they aren't even the same art form.

I'll agree there. Certain movies are certainly in a league of their own. Parodies are very funny and tend to be favorites, but can't be considered along the lines of the movie they are parodying. (I.E. The Ring/Scary Movie 3, Airplane!/Zero Hour, Star Wars/Spaceballs, Top Gun/Hot Shots)
