Your spot to stop and reflect "I just love WDW"

Stopping for a moment???! I don't think so! lol. Maybe when the girls are older ..

My personal respite and moment to reflect is normally back at the resort. Sitting at the WL/AKL fireplace, walking around the CSR lake, cruising the boardwalk .. if I had to pick a moment at the parks it would probably be the time right before Illuminations starts when WS is all lit up, the torch flames are playfully blowing in the wind and the preshow music is taking me away. Ahhh ... I think it's time to put on the headphones

With 5 kids, we don't stop either...except on the lazy rivers at TL & BB. Oh yea!

The walkway above the WL lobby. From that walkway, you get to overlook the beautiful lobby that is alive with people talking, kids laughing and running around, and servers from Whispering Canyon yelling about ketchup ;). In the background of it all you hear the river which is leading outside to the fantastic waterfall which you can see if you look the other direction out the windows. Out there is the beautiful pool area, geyser, and gorgeous Bay Lake. While I'm on that walkway, I'm either returning from a fun-filled day and glad to be "home" or I'm full of excitement anticipating a new fun-filled day at the parks. I'm never in a bad mood on that walkway :)

That is my exact same moment when I first arrive, and you explained it better than I could.

Done this twice already, looking forward to that walkway again in a couple more months.

Difficult to do with a lot of young kids.... but lounging on the lazy rivers at TL & BB, watching Wishes from the Astro Orbiter, and riding with the family on Teamboat Springs.

Believe it or not, one of my favorite spots to just sit and have a beer is in front of the old Wonders Of Life. It's quite, and I kind of reflect on the days of old at EPCOT Center. It's nice to just sit there with your thoughts, looking at where people used to flood the pathway up to the pavilion. I just really enjoy it, and if I get a little depressed about the EPCOT of the past, I look to the left and head to SSE! My other happy place...btw, I know I'm strange, my wife reminds me all the time..lol
Yea, I do that too but in the sort of unaltered former Communicore walkway near Club Cool and Fountain View.

That's a good spot too, I have so many other places like the fountain right I front of SSE, even sitting on a bench where the old restaurant used to be, the name slips my mind, it's between TT, and Mexico. I'll stand there leaning on the rail looking at the rocks, and fish in the shallow water, it reminds me of when I was a kid at EPCOT.

Wow, what a great thread theme. I have so many spots and many of them go back to when we went to WDW for the first time as a family. IMO there is nothing better than holding your children in your arms and just soaking in the WDW experience.
Sitting by the Fountain of Nations at dusk after a long day.
Sitting by the fountain at the German pavillion.
Walking through Puffins Roost and smelling the perfume and cologne
Sitting outsite POTC at dusk
Seeing SM at night
Hearing my seven year old yell "this is awesome" the entire ride on SM and BTM.

The start of Main Street USA, standing by the flagpole, looking down to Cindy Castle, over all of MS USA. I stand there at the end of every WDW trip and literally say it out loud - "Man, I freaking love this place." It's great to look that way at night, especially when it's late and most guests have left. It's bittersweet because I love looking and thinking of all the magic I have encountered over the trip, but it's also the last great view before leaving.
