Your spot to stop and reflect "I just love WDW"

Are there any particular locations in WDW where you find yourself stopping for a moment and just reflecting on (and appreciating) how much you love WDW and just being there? I was just thinking about it and I know one of my favorite spots is on the boat dock at the Polynesian, particularly in the evening and night when you can stand there and do a sweeping look (right-to-left or left-to-right) to see the GF, Cinderella Castle, Contemporary, and back again to the Poly. I think another spot for me is when I'm walking into (or out of) Epcot and pass right under SSE and look up at it. And one other is when I'm taking the ferry from WL to MK and appreciating everything around me as it all comes into view the closer we get to the park.

My personal respite and moment to reflect is normally back at the resort. Sitting at the WL/AKL fireplace, walking around the CSR lake, cruising the boardwalk .. if I had to pick a moment at the parks it would probably be the time right before Illuminations starts when WS is all lit up, the torch flames are playfully blowing in the wind and the preshow music is taking me away. Ahhh ... I think it's time to put on the headphones

We're fortunate to be able to stay at the CR on many of our visits, so I would say the balcony of any CR room with a park view. You can see so many sights and hear so many sounds from there. Other than that, the balcony of the train station overlooking Main St.

I have a few to name... Our tradition is to always go to Epcot on arrival day. Walking through the gates and just stopping to look at SSE- what a sight for the start of the trip. Different locations around World Showcase, I just stop and take it all in.

MK- Walking down Main St for the first time of the trip and just seeing that gorgeous castle! Also, those rocking chairs in Frontierland... there is just nothing like stopping to sit for a few minutes and taking it all in, hearing the screams of Splash Mt and the wolf howling at HM.. it makes me feel like I am home!

I completely agree with the Castle.

Also stepping onto the monorail. When you get the "monorail aroma" you KNOW you are in Disney and suddenly feel part of the magic.

Anywhere where I suddenly realize I am the only person in THIS spot at THIS moment. A moment of loneliness, short-lived and all to myself.

The walkway above the WL lobby. From that walkway, you get to overlook the beautiful lobby that is alive with people talking, kids laughing and running around, and servers from Whispering Canyon yelling about ketchup . In the background of it all you hear the river which is leading outside to the fantastic waterfall which you can see if you look the other direction out the windows. Out there is the beautiful pool area, geyser, and gorgeous Bay Lake. While I'm on that walkway, I'm either returning from a fun-filled day and glad to be "home" or I'm full of excitement anticipating a new fun-filled day at the parks. I'm never in a bad mood on that walkway

At night after the fireworks we always sit in the hub and watch the castle, crowds go by, and the lights of Main Street. It is my favorite time in the MK, to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It is nice in the day too but just more magical at night. Oh and we have our favorite snacks while we sit there. Hubby has popcorn and I have a Mickey Premium Bar.
