Hello everyone! The 180 day mark is almost here for my November 2015 trip and I would like opinions on 3 restaurants that my family and I are considering. We haven't been to any of them before but have found menu items that appeal to us. The restaurants are:

1. Beaches and Cream
2. The Plaza Restaurant
3. The Captain's Grille

I was also checking reservations on MDE for Beaches and Cream and saw that barely any were available. Do reservations for that place really fill up that fast?

Thanks for any input!:)

The only one we've been at recently enough to comment on is the Plaza and we LOVED it. It's quiet, the food was good excellent service and we paid out of pocket. TS for qs prices. Nothing fancy but quite good.

I can only speak to B&C, it is fun and exactly what you would expect from an ice cream shop. The ice cream specialties alone are worth a visit. We've gone their twice in as many trips just for the desserts. They also take TiW.

Just do beaches and cream for dessert no reservation needed. So I recommend captains grill
Depending on time of year, a reservation for Beaches and Cream is a must. Walk-ups were being turned away over Easter week. We made certain to have an ADR for our June visit.

@The Magical Genie 123, The Plaza has good food and ice cream specialities, though the service can be spotty at times. Doesn't deter us, as we dine there every trip. The Captains Grille has an amazing (and reasonably priced) breakfast buffet. It has become a favorite. We weren't impressed by dinner there, however.

Beaches and Cream for sure, the food and desserts are very good.

The draw at B&C are the desserts. If you go, eat light earlier in the day. If your intent is to have a meal also, the grilled cheese and tomato bisque are a light, tasty choice. As for desserts, I'm partial to the No Way Jose.

The Plaza is the only one of the three that I can comment on but we have eaten there on our last two trips and it's a fave of ours. Def. try it!
