We are looking to go in Oct but can't decide between Oct 1-9 or 29- Nov. 6. We want to go for food and wine and MNSSHP, but don't want it to be too busy. What do you all think?
Thanks in Advance!!

I took my first trip to WDW in October over Columbus Day. It was really nice. The weather was great and it wasn't crowded. I keep trying to schedule another trip out during that time.

We have always gone last week of October - 1st week of November. The crowds are usually quite reasonable. You may want to watch out for "Soaps Weekend", the crowds are larger, especially in MGM. As for Food and Wine - LOVE IT!! Don't go on the weekend though, then a lot of locals come in and it gets VERY crowded. We have gone on a Tuesday and there was no wait for anything!!! The weather is still really good then, I will have a hard adjustment going in April and not getting my Food and Wine fix!!

October and MNNSSHP

We went to the party on Halloween onceand we willnever go agian on Halloween. The kids were 4 7 and 8 andof course they wanted to trick or treat the lines were awful. I just told them I would buy them a bag a=ofcandy later and they could have that. The partyitself was awesome...the villians were all out. So they were able to getautographs, Cinderella andher fairy god mother was out as well. Let me tell you though the lines for them were awful as well. I would recommending going on a different night to enjoy it all.
October is a great timeto go, the weather is great. Wewore windbreakers in the morning but by 10:00 we could take them off. Being from Maine it was different. We recently went in March andwewill never do that again. If you do do the party on Halloween may I recomend not doing Disney during the day, we went to Sea World and they had their own celebrationthat the kids loved. Good luck to you andmost of all have a great time. :p
