I think that was what many people's streets looked like last Christmas. It was an awful winter (lost power for days, that was fun!).

Us too. It came back on Christmas eve, as the 30 out of town guests were walking in the door (literally within 2 minutes). No heat, turkey was uncooked, the contents of our fridge and freezer were buried in the snow in the backyard to keep them from spoiling... We booked our Disney trip as soon as the guests went home .
