I'm torn...

1. while it's just a breakfast buffet...pre-park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace is a must. The food has been good each time we've done it, the service and characters have been top notch, and the experience of being in MK before it opens is purely MAGICAL!

2. 'Ohana and the never ending parade of skewered meats is awesome. :ROFLOL: I think this too will have to go onto our must do list for each trip.

3. California Grill blew me away. Yes- I've had better fine dining level food, but the food was still excellent, the service superb, and the experience with the views and the fireworks made it a super unique experience. Even my 5 yr old proclaimed it the best meal of our last trip...and we did 7 character meals last trip!

4. Le Cellier - but not for the reasons you'd think. I think with all the hype- you need go once and try it for yourself to form your own decision. Half the people I know who have been there love it and rave about it and the others say it's good but far from noteworthy. At least by going and trying it - I have my own first hand experience of it all... Which was "good, but not noteworthy." At least I no longer have that "am I missing out" feeling.

Citrico's ! We ate Thanksgiving dinner there and as usual wonderful. Best service and dining experience, never had a bad menu item there.

Narcossees' great place for dinner as your vacation is winding down. We always schedule it the night before we depart.

Biergarten . To me a place we have to eat at every time as it has all of our favorite comfort foods and the only decent bier on property. Its nothing to have a liter or two with my meal and I dont usually drink.

Since we usually have a bigger group we have a variety of must do's:

1. SciFi - makes me feel like a kid watching the drive-in movies we used to have here in town.. love the milkshakes too!

2. Kona Cafe - usually eat then walk out to the beach and watch the water parade and fireworks.

3. its not dining but have to have a grand marne slush..:)

4. new favorite - Whispering Canyon - fun for everyone in the group!

For our family it is Boma at AKL. Not so much for the food, but the memories, atmosphere and wonderful servers. Don't get me wrong...I love the food, but it is not the best on property. Every trip I debate leaving it out of the dining rotation but when I ask my boys which restaurant they don't want to miss....the answer is always BOMA!

Our must do's are:
Breakfast- Cape May Cafe- a great spread of food, but the re-laxness of the place, not rushed, more quiet than other breakfast buffets, and great character interaction..
Lunch- It has to be Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe. It's just a burger and fries with a great topping bar!! And to sit outside looking at the castle is worth the soso food.
Dinner-California grille. It's all about the service and the way the place feels. It starts with a private escort on the elevator up to the bar. A nice glass of wine, and then dinner by the window, followed by fireworks on the observation deck, with dessert and another cocktail. And the food is very good. Attention to detail and prepared correctly.

I have to agree with the praise for O'hana. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent too.

And if you have little girls, you absolutely must do Cinderella's Royal Table. The food was good, but the look on my daughter's face as each Princess came to our table and interacted with her? Absolutely priceless and a memory I'll cherish forever.

we were just at disney last week and i had the beginning of a stomach bug and will still say the best steak i've tasted in a long time was served to me at yachtsmans...to bad i only had a few bites before i gave up (was getting sick for about 2 days before we went)...but my sister had what she calls the best leftover breakfast EVER lol so it didn't go to waste. they say if you really like something when you're starving it probably only tastes great just because you are so hungry and not necessarily the food being that great but in my case i felt rotten and it still tasted like heaven.

I must always do Breakfast at Kona!! Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes OR Tonga Toast! Its hard to choose...and of course Lilikoi Juice!

I just went on my first solo trip and i chickened out of going alone though haha. i totally regret it!

Also - someplace - anyplace - that has Mickey Waffles. Preferably Sleepy Hollow, since they have the big ones!

I dont know if youre counting snacks, but Boulangerie Patisserie!! and Aloha Isle (of course!...maybe 3 times! lol)

We have to must do's on every trip.First, on the very first morning there no matter what resort we are staying at, my oldest son and I venture to the food court at POFQ to grab a couple orders of beignets. Best morning food ever!!! Second at least once per visit Whispering Canyon Cafe. Bottomless milk shakes. Nuff said!!!!!

The lion sleeps tonight.

Well for us,so far,its Jikos, the ambience, awesome fillet(mac & cheese, how does that work)and amazing wine list, even our son who was ten at the time loved going out to the viewing deck with the night vision glasses, after scoffing down his kids steak, way better than Le Celliers(in our view),tho next year were going to try Cali grill at Contempory.:slurp:
