Your favorite relaxing spots.

Myself, DW and DD are pretty close to being park commandos, as our trips to WDW only happen every year or two, but there are a few instances where we can relax a bit. The TTA is very relaxing to ride, as is CoP. Of course, sitting down every late afternoon at our TS meal is a welcome break as well. Hoping someday in the future we can go often enough that we can take it easy, and just find one of these spots people are mentioning and relax and people watch for a while.

Reading through this thread has me dreaming of all the magic of relaxing at WDW. A lot of my Disney loving friends think I'm crazy for thinking its a relaxing place. I love the ambiance of the parks at night and just strolling slowly as they get close to closing time. My favorite spot to relax at MK is anywhere in front of Cinderella castle after any nightly entertainment has finished and there isn't a huge crowd. I will sometimes just sit and watch the castle change colors and smile. I also love anywhere in Animal Kingdom at night, I will do the same thing in front of the Tree Of Life that I do in front of the castle. I also enjoy sitting at Dawa Bar or Nomad Lounge and people watching. In Hollywood Studios, I love to get a glow-cube drink from the Tune-in Lounge and sit around Echo Lake. In Epcot I just love wandering around WS after the Illuminations crowd lets out. I can't wait to get back there!

My favorite relaxing spots are in Epcot, before, not after, park opening. You can enter IG at 9:00, and no one rushes you toward Future World. I love to enter IG, then grab a bench by Rose and Crown and listen to the "bush music" while watching people rushing towards Future World, CMs coming to work, etc. I also used to love eating breakfast at the French Bakery, and taking my breakfast outside near the fountain. I say used to only because I haven't done it in a couple years so I don't know if it's gotten busier as the word gets out about the French Bakery being open.

The deck areas at Y&BC that overlook the pool. I'm up at 4:30 AM every day, vacation or not, and I love sitting out there for hours before anyone else wakes up!

I do the same thing, only by the pool & fountain at Caribbean Beach Resort. Early in the morning, before anybody else is up. Grab my coffee in my refillable mug, and sit outside and watch the sun come up.

Oh, good. I'm not the only one who wakes up insanely early in WDW. My family thinks I'm nuts, but it's a whole different World when no one is around ;). I love it!

These are all great spots! Making me wish I was at world right now! I have a different one but I love sitting right in the middle of Main Street. I get some weird looks but I can sit for hours just right in the middle of Main Street on the ground and look at the castle

Epcot- The small area below the UK there are a couple of tables near the water below the R&C. Grab a drink at R&C or Fish and chips and Its a very quiet area. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar- Great place to relax with a drink and a bite to eat. The outdoor area at KringLa Bakery is always shaded and pretty quiet.
MK- Near the bridge going into liberty square there are some benches. Grab a snack from the stand and relax, watch people. The fountain outside Gastons Tavern.
Studios- The HBD Lounge. Outside near the rail just watching people as they pass.
AK- The lounge at Tiffins. Outdoor area is amazing and the drinks are great. The lower seating area overlooking the water at Flame Tree
Resorts- At every resort I can always find a place to sit and relax, whether it be the pool, the lounge, or a quiet place off the beaten path, but these are some of my favorites. Poly- The grassy area right outside captain cooks or hammocks near the beach. Either work with a nice drink in hand. Boardwalk/Yacht Club/Beach Club- Numerous areas to relax around the water. The walkway between Riverside and French Quarter
Springs- The seating at the Margarita bar or outdoor seating at Jock Lindseys or Raglan Road.

I love Disney Springs and the Boardwalk Inn early in the morning...you can enjoy your power walk around these areas before the parks and crowds arrive...at the Boardwalk you can jog...eat a lite breakfast and sit near the lake and be the first to shop or enjoy Epcot or Hollywood before all the crowds get there...it's great...

Ugh! This is making me so itchy for WDW! Relaxing is our favorite part.

MK - Peoplemover, hands down!

Epcot - The Season's pavilion. We like to ride Living with the Land and then get something to eat. They have a decent amount of vegan options there without having to specifically ask for a special menu which I love.

AK - Rafiki's Planet Watch! Taking the cute little train over and then walking down to pet the pigs and goats and possibly catch a veterinarian surgery behind the glass is such a nice break from the crowds and the heat. You can even meet Chip & Dale and Rafiki down there!

DHS - I feel pretty relaxed here in general - since it's not a very stimulating park. But, if I had to pick a place, it'd probably be the covered tables next to the fruit stand near the Tower of Terror!

Resorts - Omg, so many places. But, my number one pick is the Polynesian. Getting a dole whip there and just hanging around feels the MOST like vacation.

Springs - The tables outside of Jock Lindsay's!

Years back there was a CD put out by Disney Travel, and there was one Guy (Bob?) whose favorite attractions at WDW were all the benches. I remember him finding all the benches to relax on. Does anyone else remember that one? He was my hero!

France is always breakfast on my last day and as of last October there were still only about 5 of us heading to the bakery. If the weather is cool enough it truly feels like France.
