Aulani

My parents just got back from Aulani and they really enjoyed their time there. Although it's really not comparable in terms of location (Hawaii vs. WDW), they like the Beach Club much better than the Aulani as a resort. The pool is definitely was a big selling point for them. And there's nothing better than a cheeseburger and onion rings from Beaches and Cream. Yum!

Until my last trip, I'd have said the Boardwalk, because I love how much fun it is, and I love the entertainment along the Boardwalk.

However, this last trip, I absolutely fell in love with Animal Kingdom Lodge. Wow. I had never stayed there before, though I had eaten at all three of their restaurants before. I was absolutely blown away by everything the resort had to offer- the decor (delightfully understated), my savannah view, the great restaurants (of course!), and everything about the place. The only thing I didn't like was the slightly longer bus rides, but it was a minor inconvenience for such a great resort.

The restaurants are amazing, some of the best on site. And, they fit them all into one resort. Plus, there's a bar still too.

I forgot to mention Victoria Falls!! Great place to grab a drink, though I wish they were open past midnight (but that's a complaint I have about all of Disney's hotel bars, not just this one). Midnight? Really, Disney?

WOW that is surprising. Aulani’s pool with slides, lazy river, artificial reef with fish to swim through, amazing hot tubs and activities was much more impressive than SAB to me. In fact I was not impressed with SAB when we stayed at the YC.

Wilderness Lodge!!!:king: Room size does not bother me...goodness, as long as I have a place to sleep, it's still bigger than my bedroom at home!:animwink: Have always received an exceptional level of service...except a few minor quirks.....will always want to go back!!!!:sohappy:

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with SAB either. Then again, I wasn't impressed with the YC at all.
