For me it would be Contemporary with a MK view and a close second is Grand Floridian. Like others have said I will eventually stay at them all. So far have stayed onsite three times and all at different places. We did a split stay so have stayed at four places. ASMo, PoP, WL and comming up in just a few days CSR.

Polynesian and the Contemporary are the Disney resorts I've always wanted to stay in, but can not afford. Water view room so I can see the electrical water pageant from my balcony at night. I might give the edge to Polynesian if I had to pick one because of the theme and Kona coffee.

Outside of Disney I would really love to stay at
The Jalousie Plantation in St. Lucia. Just the view just looks incredible from what I've heard and seen online.

I'm lucky enough (and was irresponsible enough with money in my early 20s ) to have stayed at several deluxe resorts, two mods and all the value resorts. My dream resort growing up was Poly, and in every single way, it delivered. My sister and I still talk about how every single CM we encountered would say, "Aloha." Such a nice touch, and a perfect stay in every way!

Now that I'm older (finally hit the big 3-0, lol), my dream resort is definitely BW. Beautiful rooms, adult-centric nightlife, boat to DHS, walk to Epcot, gorgeous views....*sigh* Hopefully I'll get to stay there in the next few years!

I really want to try the GF!!!! DH has agreed but now I have to get past the $$$$ it will cost me. It will have to wait for the day when we can leave the kids at home and go in late January or early October when is the value season!!

I'm finally going December 4,5,6!!! Can't wait. But after we stay at the GF my dream resort would be a theme park view on the 12th floor or above at the Contemporary. I have wanted to stay in the main tower since as long as I can remember riding the express monorail through the lobby. I hate when people dog the Contemporary for lacking Disney magic. The monorail running through the lobby is about as magical as it gets.

well i dont really qualify for this thread since my wife and I have stayed at every resort on property. If i had to pick my dream resort out of all of them it would be Bay Lake Tower but only in a MK view suite. We love love love everything about this resort and would really prefer to stay there everytime we go. Here is my top 5 list of resorts we prefer to stay at.

1. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
2. Disney's Beach Club
3. Disney's Wilderness Lodge
4. Disney's Contemporary Resort(main tower, MK View only)
5. Disney's Polynesian
Honorable Mention: Cabins at Ft Wilderness(only during mid to late December)

I have always wanted to stay at the Poly since my first trip in 1972. However, at this point after so many years I am afraid that it might disappoint. There's that factor and the price per night exceeds the monthly payment on my RV! And we love Fort Wilderness
So if money were no object:
Poly
Beach Club
POFQ
Coronado Springs
Boardwalk
AoA when it opens

My dream resort (as in that has not been made???) I would have to say something Jungle Cruise-like or the Adventuers Club-like. Great decor for the brave global adventurer.

As for a resort that is open, I would have to say the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have checked out the lobby twice - once in August and another time in December - and I am amazed!

Been very fortunate in my life to stay at quite a few WDW resorts since the mid-1970s - Contemporary, Polynesian, The Disney Inn - now Shades of Green, The Swan, Port Orleans (before Dixie Landings split), and the Howard Johnson's and Mariott in the WDW Village Marketplace / Lake Buena Vista area.

Next month going back to Shades of Green, right across the street from the Polynesian.

Hmmm...if I have to pick one I haven't stayed at yet, then I'll have to pass. I've stayed at All Star Music, OKW, SSR, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk, and Swan. Oh, and does Bay Lake Tower count for the Contemporary?? (I think so. ;)) I have no interest in the Polynesian, or the GF, really, although if they are building DVC units there, eventually I will get to try it out. Right before we bought DVC, we were booked to stay at Dixie Landings, so that might be the only resort I haven't stayed at that I'd like to try out, but I don't think it qualifies as a "dream".

The Boardwalk is my favorite, OKW is #2, just edging out Wilderness Lodge.
