Why all the hate for Chefs de France? I will be eating there for this first time in a couple of weeks.

I wouldn't say I hated it. I intentionally labeled my lists "favorites" and "most disappointing" instead of "best" and "worst" because the bottom of my list were just that: disappointing. I thought my croque monsieur was decent. My partner very much regretted ordering what he had. I forget what he had. I think it was some kind of crepe. I do remember that he expected it to be savory based on the ingredients listed in the menu but that it was actually much too sweet for his taste.

Ordering wrong won't keep us from recommending an otherwise good restaurant, though. The thing that deterred us most — and has thus far prevented us from giving the restaurant a second chance — was the service. Perhaps it was stereotypical French aloofness, but we didn't feel welcome. Our server was visibly annoyed that we weren't ordering more. He kept trying to push appetizers and cocktails on us while we were ordering. It was an early lunch; we didn't need drinks or a large meal. After that we were largely ignored until we flagged him down to order a dessert to share.

Really not going to rank them but just give some commentary

Le Cellier - One of the better steaks on property
Rose and Crown - I love British fare.
Les Chefs de France - Nice meal but nothing I am craving. Don't get me wrong, it's a serviceable meal, just not one that I look forward to.
Restaurant Marrakesh - Similar to France for me. I love North African food. This kind is just a little bland and plain to me. Still good, just not great.
Via Napoli - I live in the greater NYC area. Call me jaded, but I just can't get excited about Italian food in Florida.
Tutto Italia Ristorante - Ditto
Teppan Edo - Hibachi is fun
Tokyo Dining - Decent Japanese Nice varied Japanese menu. Good non-seafood choices too.
Nine Dragons - See Italy - I live in NYC area. Don't look forward to Chinese food in FL, sorry I know I'm a snob.
Biergarten - Yes! Great meal, transports you to another place, and dinner and a show for the price of dinner alone. Equally love the cold parts of the buffet as the hot.
San Angel Inn - meh
La Hacienda de San Angel - Have not been
Akershus - Not for everyone but I enjoyed. Coldbord is great with meats cheeses and salads

Worst: San Angel Inn- too dark and very bad service-had to ask for chips and salsa

Best: Rose and Crown- great waiter "GUVNA" and cute too:o

Most Fun: Tepan Edo- however there was a mix-up w/ the seating and had to wait a long time for our "chef, but waitresses were very attentive!

Best Steak: "Le Cellier- had a nice conversation w/ the waiter; disappointed that it is now a signature dining restaurant
