Ok...I have had enough. I cannot hold out any longer.

I want to talk to a select group of Guests. I am SUUUURE there are none of these on this board.....BUTTTT....if you happen to come in contact with any of these fine human beings...please pass this along:

Even prior to Walt Disney World's opening its gates Imagineers were on the verge of a MAJOR break through. Admist all of the discussions of monorails, skyrides, and E-Ticket Attractions, lurking in the background was a major entertainment breakthrough...something that would create buzz in the theme park world...Something that would get people talking....

TRASH CANS!!!!!

Last time I checked people...rock formations in queue lines were not designed to be stuffed with soda cups and napkins.....IN FACT, there was a trash can less than 20 feet from where you deposited your germ-infested refreshment containers....Now some cast member will have to come by and dig it out because you were a complete and utterly lazy specimen....

And I also checked the guide maps, and I saw nothing that states that parking spaces were also designated as trash recepticles....OHHHH!! WAIT!!! There was trash cans at the tram loading area wasn't there???? Man! Disney really has helped us out here!! maybe we should use them????!!!! Has anyone ever left the parks late and seen how much CRAP guests leave sitting in their once occupied parking space?? Absolute PIGS....They should all be ashamed of themeselves...

This is one of the most annoying things that I see happen all of the time, not on Disney property but out and about everywhere. Why do people have the need to throw trash on the floor when there are bins every where.

This absolutely baffles me as well, in the real world and Disney World!

If I have trash when I can't find a can, I usually just put it in my pocket (or if I don't have a pocket, my boyfriend's). Typically I forget it's there and it ends up in the Washer/Dryer. But that is better than the GROUND than for some other poor soul to have to pick it up for me!

Think about all of the animals roaming around the parks.

Take responsibility for your own garbage!!! :hammer:

It's not just at WDW - you see it everywhere! My personal favorite is the people who change a baby's diaper and then toss it out on the pavement of a parking lot.....:fork:

^eeewww!! That's is just foul!!! A couple of weeks ago, my family and I were at the Detroit Zoo and my 3 yr. old dd decided that she was just going to take her fruit snack wrapper and throw it on the ground. Boy, did I have a hissy fit. It was kind of thrown under a wooden fence with a big tree surrounding it, but I'll tell you what I made her get on her hands and knees and go get it and then put it in a trash can. If I won't put up with it at the local zoo, I sure won't put up with it a WDW.

Side note: I usually make comments whenever I see people do stuff like this a WDW. I intend for them to be only heard by myself or my husband, but I have a LOUDNESS to my voice so even though I don't mean for the rude guest to hear me they usually do!:goodnevil

I worked at a big toy store, that will remain nameless..., over the xmas season a few years back. One day I went outside to move some of the shopping carts and some lazy ******** had left the diaper in the cart.

Fun fact about Disney's trash cans at the parks. Every trash can has the same distance between them. Disney ate a hot dog, and whatever step he took thats the distance between trash cans (some say 15, some say 20, when i find the exact amount i will tell)

I totally agree with this post. It is a personal pet peeve that people do not throw their trash away. I have friends that I have gotten into HUGE arguments with over this. They have left half eaten food in my car stuffed under the seat - disgusting and shows no RESPECT for others. They throw trash out of car windows on the highway - i say something but they blow me off. It is incredibly embarassing.

eww i completely agree with the whole "Dont be slobs" movement. hahah just think if you left trash near a duck family or a bunny family in the MK you could seriously hurt them! they didnt do anything to you eccept make you go "AWW!!" when you see them! dont only think of the humans think of the animals too!

It's the same mentality that makes people leave shopping carts all over the parking lot, often blocking parking spaces for others.

It's the same mentality that makes smokers leave cigarette butts all over the place.

It's the idea that 'somebody else will take care of it'.

I think no matter how hard Disney tries to get people to clean up, whether is be putting trash cans ever 2 feet...people would still throw their crap on the ground. Its human nature...were dirty and rotten
