Year of the Magic Wand.

Hi All, Ponder on this. If you worked at WDW and were asked to come up with an idea that would bring more people to stay onsite rather than going offsite. What would it be? Well I would have a " Year of the magic wand ".For anybody staying at a Disney resort hotel on checking in your welcome pack would have a form to fill in which would ask how long are you here for,how many in your party,and who's your favourite character?.Then you hand this in at the concierge and if your picked out you get a VIP meet and greet with that character and a professional photographer to take photos of the event.What idea would you come up with,let your imagination go with this one.:wave:

I think its a great gesture but a few problems with it, one what if the character doesn't exist in costumed form or is busy or being fixed ect, two i don't really think that it would keep people on site more I mean you can do that in like 20 mins. Definitely a fun incentive for families to stay on site though. the only way to keep people on property more at this point is to continue to improve the park experience.

Me too. Then I started to wonder what this had to do with Imagineering. Seems to be a promotional type topic. :shrug:
