It's just me. But on a Florida state employee salary...

There is a chance I'll cancel a SW character dinner next Sat. evening to hang out with friends, one of which will pick up the tab in that case. We won't be going to Yachtsmans but the money that would have gone toward the SW dinner could be redirected to Yachtsmans on another night. Did I say I'm a budget analyst in a state agency?

Well I live with a guy who's half polish and half german and he's like a budget analyst. I spent 2 weeks prior to this dinner reminding him we were not going to discuss prices of anything on the menu or order ice water only instead of tea ..LOL and this young man works for my biggest and cheapest customer...you gotta quote everything....lowest margins but you know you gotta have the bread for a place to put the butter and jam.
I honestly don't think the strip was much tastier than the strip at Mama Melrose or BOG...Disney just can cook a New York Strip I think. It was really great service, it was a wonderful atmosphere and we were all dressed up resort casual you know. We had a late ADR and we basically were the last diners to leave and were never rushed. Really if you are going to splurge on a nice dinner I don't think you will be disappointed with Yachtsman.

Went to both this week and hands DOWN we thought the food was much, much better at Yachtsman, mostly the steak and service. Ryan at YC was a first rate server. Apps were on par with each other. Also much less chaotic at YS than LC. A much more refined experience at YS overall. LC was a cattle herd, seated very close to the next party, steak was dry as a bone, server was sweet as can be but a novice. That's all totally fine but not at those prices.
