Does anyone know where I can find a map of the Yacht Club that has the room numbers on it? I need one & can't seem to find it. Frustrating! :p

I'm sorry to report that I wasn't able to find one anywhere either. I tried and tried for our trip in March, and no luck.

Even the resort map they gave us upon check-in doesn't list room numbers by area or anything.

The only thing I can tell you is that we were in room #4207, and it was a water view room (free upgrade from standard view - yay!), on the stormalong bay side of the pier/lighthouse (to the right of the pier if you are standing with your back to the lake), overlooking stormalong bay and the lake. It was in the little wing that juts out toward the lake there. It was a great room.

IF I remember correctly, that whole area of the building (above the restaurants and health club) was numbered X100s and X200s (X being the floor; we were on 4th floor). Remember, however, there is a capital "IF" at the beginning of that sentence.... hahaha.

Wow! Just when I thought my thread was buried & there was no hope! LOL!

wdwwdeagle, thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds wonderful! I think the halls don't connect over to the BC side, right? That side you were on didn't get a lot of foot traffic then, right? It's tough to strike the balance between quiet & convenient. :animwink:

durangojim, here's a little something for your awesomeness -----> You rock!

You're welcome. The Beach Club map has helped us out many times when checking in to make sure we got just what we wanted.

You're right - you have to go downstairs to the lobby or out back and walk along the building next to the pool to get over to the beach club. It's a pretty good walk, even from that part of the YC building.

The wing we were in was very quiet the first part of the week, but then someone checked into that nice suite next to it (4209, I think) midweek, and we could hear them. Not terrible, just regular noise coming and going, and the shower running. But you're right -- no one comes down there unless they're staying in one of those rooms, and there's only 5 or 6 rooms there, so it's out-of-the-way.

Also, that wing has a little "secret" staircase that you can take that deposits you right between the Captain's Grill and Yachtsman, so it's convenient for trips to restaurants and the pool without having to go all the way back around to the elevator. Of course, that's if you don't mind walking stairs.

Also -- awesome find durangojim! -- I'm keeping that site for future reference! Thanks for sharing.
