Yacht & Beach Club Pool Refurb

We will be staying at the Yacht & Beach Club on April 19th. The pool refurb is supposed to be completed "mid-April". Does anyone know the current status and if it will be completed then?:shrug:

On a side note, since it is a Sunday do you think there is any chance Space Mountain will still be open on April 19th?

According to my latest information it should be completely reopened by April 15th. This of course is always subject to change, but if it was going to, I feel like we would have heard about it by now.

I would expect Space to close exactly on schedule - they need every day they can get.

Agree with you on space. I feel there are going to be workers with hammers waiting to get in as soon as it closes on the 18th.

I have heard from recent guests that it is completed. Or should I say, everything is open again. They still have time, so I guess they could close something and do more work, but as of a few days ago, everything was open again.

Any word if the pool still has a deep end over 12 foot? My fear is that the deep end was filled in to allow for safer conditions. I despise the disappearing deep ends at the Disney pools all across property.............
