Yes, it sucks, but I wanted to have Steve in there somewhere. The dashboard gave me tons of reccomendations, and this was the best one.

I got one and LOVE it. I dont play online though, Im more of a single player RPG kind of guy.
I am the same way. When I am gaming it is to get away from people and veg on my own. The last thing I want is some 12 year old screaming at me to lay down cover fire. The wife got me Half life 2:The orange box for fathers day and I have been having a blast with it.

My gamer tag is MasterYodaWDW but I am rarely online.

You know they're working on a sequel to Portal.
I have not heard that yet. I will definitely be first in line for it as that was a great game. Do you have a link to any screen shots or anything?

It's still pretty hush-hush... but Valve released a want-ad for a voice actor to play the founder of Apeture Science. (It's actually going to be more like a prequel... )

Interesting. I just hope they make it with the same sense of humor in the storyline.

If GladOs returns... then it should be great. Especially if it's GladOs v1 or something like that. Dark humor carried that game so far.
The concept for the game was original, the game play was great but the dark humor in that game is what took it over the top. I found myself wanting to solve the puzzles simply to hear what kind of whacked out thing the computer was going to say next.

Please note that we have added a consequence for failure. Any contact with the chamber floor will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your official testing record followed by death. Good luck!

Or dont forget about the 10yr old screaming a bunch of trash after sniping you from a glitch in the map.

If you like JRPGs try Blue Dragon. I just finished it and it was pretty good. The price is good and its a ton better than the reviewers gave it credit for. I got about 60hrs of gameplay out of it.

Portal: Still Alive is the name of the sequel. Microsoft showed off a quick teaser trailer at their E3 press conference this past monday. It should be available on the Xbox Live arcade by year's end.

Since you guys like RPGs (and I assume Disney :p) have you ever played the Kingdom Hearts games? I'm not a big fan of RPGs, but these games I could easily get into.

I heard that on the Major Nelson podcast. I will be waiting with bated breath to download it.
