Ok ok ok...the trailers have been plastered everywhere now...

Judging by the trailers...which looks like it will be a better film? (I know it's not exactly fair because we kind of know what X-men 2 will be like considering there has been a movie based on them already)

X-Men all the way. I'm probably bias because I've always liked them above most others, but I just don't think the Hulk looks very good. I am not excited about seeing a CGI Hulk saying nothing more intelligent than "Hulk smash!" Just not my thing :D

I must admit, that's a good point. Whereas Spider-man and X-men have sentimental elements, inner love stories, and major female lead characters. The Hulk is more of a "Man Show" on steroids. Even the CGI element screams Guy Thing.

Hehe, you hit the nail on the head with this one :) (although, I feel that was the "downfall" of a great first Xmen "money take in")

granted, Xmen did great...but not Spidey money.

If done right, the Hulk has elements of Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, Beauty and the Beast, Frankenstein, King Kong and Godzilla which will be interesting to see if done properly. But I'm also prejudiced since I read the Hulk as a kid, but not the X-Men.

However much I really understand where you are coming from Gary, I somehow doubt this movie will heavily go with the Beauty and the Beast Route, it may have some Frankenstein things. From what I've read, it will be a highly psychological movie heavily dealing with the element of Anger control. There are suppose to be some shocker (scare) scenes last I heard.

A guy movie on steriods.. that's a good way to describe it. Though 90% of my favorite movies are "guy movies" I still can't seem to get in to The Hulk. Its okay though, I'm sure I'll still get dragged to see it  That's okay though, he then lets me drag him to see Two Towers... again... and again.

For its own sake, I hope the movie is good. But when asked if I'd rather see it or X-Men, I have to say X.. Even though I thought the first one could have been better. (i.e. recasting for Storm and Rogue and inserting Gambit, my favorite!)

..are those my only 2 choices??? hehe

Hulk looks so damn horrible, you know its bad when the trailer doesnt make the movie look appealing (movie companies edit trailers so that every movie..good or bad..looks oscar worthy)

X-men 2...eh..i guess im too much of a comic fan to really love the movies, but I do admit they arent BAD movies..just not the comic :D

Just to give some perspective on how misleading trailers can be, most of you are too young to remember this, but when the trailer for Star Wars premiered, the audiences were literally laughing. I remember sitting in the theater and thinking to myself: "This is rediculous, they've got a gorilla driving a spaceship, some cartoonish guy dressed all in black, and look at this guy swinging like tarzan while lasers shoot all over the place."

On the flip side, Master of Disguise looked really funny with Dana Carvey dressed up like a turtle. "turtle, turtle, turtle"

Well now, if we're going to start limiting our posts to meaningful, insightful thoughts, I think these boards will really slow down.

I voted X-men. I really liked the 1st movie, and I can't wait for the 2nd. By the way, Night Crawler looks neat! As for the Hulk, well, I can see it as a box office hit, but I think it's not going to get good ratings. A friend of my dad's said that he saw it on his coputer and said that it stunk. He said that the Hulk looked like a cartoon character and was animated horribly. Plus he says that the story was dumb as well. I'm not sure if he really did watch it or not. We'll see.

Gotta go with X--Men... I mean the introduction of Nightcrawler, a cameo by Colossus, an expanded role for Kitty Pryde, Sprial vs. Wolverine... and from what I hear the introduction of Gambit towards the end od the film.... that is stricly rumor but what else is the net for other than speading rumors?

X-Men all the way.:sohappy: :sohappy:

I went for X-Men simply because I've seen its latest trailer, and the Hulk we're still missing one. This is what I heard about it today:

"It was packed with scenes of Bruce Banner transforming into the Hulk and dozens of images of the monster, from close-ups to aerial shots. This movie could be bigger than Spider-Man (    ). My favorite scenes were the Hulk holding Jennifer Connelly and when he jumped from a cliff on top of a helicopter".

I guess untill I see THAT, I really can't have a final opinion. Of course, as Dan said, X2 is FAR from perfect. I still don't buy Nightcrawler, his teleportation could've been better, and could've worked more on Yuriko (Lady Deathstrike). But Colossus looks awesome (he's my favorite!!), and the Gambit rumor is promising. And it should be nice to see more of Iceman.

Well, I'm going for this because my top 3 XMen are:
1. Nightcrawler (sorry Rod, but I think his teleportation looks awesome)
2. Gambit (very promising about Gambit...I hadn't heard that rumor)
3. IceMan (I just wish he wasn't a teenager...although...it will really fit in well with this movie)

One question...oh where oh where is BEAST??? Is he in this???

Both movies look promising but I'm going to have to say X-Men 2.
Oh by the way, just a little heads up. Don't go to xmen.com. I almost had my Internet account taken away at school today.
