By turning six (well, really only four I care about) of my favorite people into stupid, horrible-animated, trivial imbeciles.

Even if it was made for three-year-olds. :lookaroun

That bad, huh?
The few minutes I saw were a bit difficult to take.
But it's been a while since I've watched something geared to that age group.
Maybe all shows of that type are equally insipid.

But bad animation!
No excuse for that!

Sorry to be missing all week. It has been really hectic and my fibromyalgia has been kicking up. Yesterday was a real difficult day. I was pulled to sub for a 4th grade class. We had 22 teachers absent. My guys were combined with the older Deaf and Hard of Hearing class. The Comissioner of Education visited the school. We were forewarned so most of us dressed pretty nicely since the media was also coming. I was supposed to be with the 4th graders all day but actually was able to stay with my babies until lunch then switch over as the teacher was waiting for another teacher to get free to leave for a workshop. They were supposed to be there at 8 am but didn't get there until 1pm. The reason: the Comissioner of Education came to be present at the presentation of checks to the Dade County Teacher of the Year and to inform her that she is one of 5 finalists for Florida Teacher of the Year. The whole school went crazy, clapping and yelling. Since she is best friends with the teacher I was subbing for I got to see her and hear her story before they left for the workshop. Even neater is that she is a member of my church so I know her from there as well.
Today was rough to say the least. Our autistic kid's meds are not working and she has been a terror all week. Today she started back on the kicking and hitting, grabbing and destroying other kids work, writing on tables with crayon, etc. And I got kicks in the legs and stomach as well as the rear. I was really at my wits end and ready to kill but restrained myself.
And to end it all, our car over heated coming home and it has to go in the shop tomorrow. We think the thermostat is gone for the 3rd time in a year. AUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So we couldn't go to the dinner we were supposed to go to tonight. I definately need a Disney break!

They are... but still...

(Maybe I'm just angry that I didn't like the first new Mickey cartoon years :lookaroun )

I get your point.
I love the old stuff.

So do I, but House of Mouse and the preceding Mickey's Mouseworks gave hope for a new generation of classics to come... instead, now we have this...

Oh well.
I'll gust go back and watch my vintage Mickey dvd and the Walt Disney Treasures sets...

We're having a good time, but I think I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again.

I know what you mean.
I've always said that, no matter how nice the room, after a long day at the parks, I wish I could walk into my own room and sleep in my own bed.
There really is no place like home!
