I'll do that for a semester when I do the college program at WDW. That'll be long enough for me. Love for my family and state pride are too strong to leave for any longer than that.

For me it's different because I'll be across the country from where I grew up, in a situation that is far from that I've ever experienced.

I think it's "moving on" for me because that I know, I'll be the only person from my school in one of the largest colleges in the country far away from everything I know. Whereas if I were to go someplace like UF or UCF, I would be a few hours' drive from home and know a lot of other people there.

But I think I like my way better. It's always good to clean out to the closet on occaision.

EDIT: Oh, jeez, gotta go to History class
It's definitely moving on when you go to a school where you are one of the only few people from your high school there. That was what it was like when I went to my school. I was one of like 5 people (out of 584 that I graduated with) to go there. However, as the years went on, my best friends all left the schools they originally went to and came to my school. So now it's just like high school with drinking. :lookaroun

I really don't consider college moving on. It is the same old stuff, just school. I just drive a little further and don't go home everyday. Nibbs is moving on to the real world, and that is something I've looked forward to for many, many years. Just 3 more years...
scary thought! Me in the real world! I've never been in the real world!

Hi Bonny, honey!
Glad that you and Krystyna are having a fun visit.
Say hello to her for me!

So sorry to hear about MJ's disasterous EEG.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to work with children.
Please give the Princess an extra big hug and kiss for me!

lucky jerk gets to do the college program! If I hadn't met what's his face I would have done it though. That's the only thing I think I'll regret about college. :(

Perhaps for you it was not "moving on" but basically wherever I go will be a big change for me.

Especially since I'm not adjusted to a college environment. My grade-school's (1st-8th) student body was only about 200 students, and my high school only tolls in at 500 (+or- a few)...
If you take collegesque classes in highschool, it really isn't that big of a deal. You go to class, then go home. The only people who have problems are the ones that cannot handle an ounce of responsibility and party it up. The "size" of a school is irrelavant. A school is a school and Newtons are fruited cakes...

That is my main reason for going because I know that I will regret it if I don't. I also hope to meet people and learn more about Disney and business.

They forgot to finish building it.

You went all the way to New York City to see a church that wasn't finished being built?

Story time!

I don't remember putting you down last night :lookaroun but I must have because I didn't go to NYC today.

I'm afraid to ask. . .
What are we reading this evening?

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shamed. Then I look into the glass and think
about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes
and dreams If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out
of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say
to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their
dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Uh... I think it was to see the Gothic archetexture...
We were supposed to do a "scavenger hunt" for a fun way to tour the Cathederal...
But...

We did that as fast as possible (with only a small bit of "creativity"), then we ran off to eat at the Seinfeld Diner. :lookaroun

It's your choice, I've already read both anyway.
