WOW what in increase

We were plannning on taking the inlaws next year to WDW, but this increase might do us in. 1000 dollars more for a 7 day trip next June for what it cost right now. Unless I find some discounts we probably will be staying home. Does anyone know how to get that down a little?:shrug:

If not looks like December will be my last rip for awhile!!!!

Do you have a breakdown of where the extra $1000 is coming from? With a little more info we should be able to find some cuts for you.

Are you sure they didn't upgrade the room view? That is a huge hit if they didn't calculate the lowest price. Sometimes as much as $100 per night or more.

I assume you're talking about lodging rate increases...

All the more reason to get a timeshare It's a lot of money to plunk down, but hey, it's over a number of years, and in the end it works out to the price of a mid-range car.

I had done all my calculations for a 6 night/7 day trip based on October 2007 prices and when I booked my trip for May of 2008 it was an increase of $175.82. That was for the full package: rooms, tickets and dining plan.

Ah, at that rate per person, I can see how a little increase here and there can really add up.

Sorry, the $175 increase wasn't per person it was for all 5 of us. That was the total increase from 2007.

Yeah, my increase is also in the 150-170 range for three of us. I am not sure where a $1000 increase would come from.

Did they upgrade you to the Deluxe Dining instead of DDP?
