I know this is not a pretty subject but here it goes.

I live in Atlanta, GA (Hotlanta during these months) and just came inside from doing my honey do list. Got me thinking of my upcoming trip in Sept and dealing with the heat in Orlando. Most of us know to take advantage or the EMH and hit the pool during the hottest part of the day, bring water, ect ect... No matter how much you prepare you will get hot and you will perspire like you never have before.

What do you do to help keep comfortable even though your hot and sweating. What do you do to prevent blisters, chafing and keep from walking funny at the end of a long day?

I know one thing that will be in my bag besides the Gold Bond Powder is this...

Whats on your list of must haves????

While we're talking about chafing, does anyone else experience what I call chub-rub? (when your thighs rub together while you walk resulting in chafing/horrible pain). This would be my biggest problem in WDW, forcing me to wear capris usually regardless of how hot it is when I would much rather wear shorts or a skirt. I just recently bought a powder gel for anti-chafing, and it seems to work well but I haven't worn it for an amount of walking that is any way comparable to that of WDW, so I'm still a little nervous to not wear capris. D: The one Gold bond makes works good though?

Before I begin...sorry for TMI...I want to help out as much as I can...

The BodyGlide stick works very well for this reason (no matter if you're tiny: my borther's gf is a size 4 and uses it with everything--skirts, shorts, pants, capris, or on the larger side...it works so well). I also use the Monistat chafing gel while in the parks if it's a day that is exceptionally hot and humid (it is a small tube that stays in my bag). For biking I use the Butt'r stuff, but in my opinion, that doesn't work as well as the other two. I have never tried the Gold Bond. I love the BodyGlide so much, I wouldn't chance anything else. Oh, and by the way, these chafing sticks/powders work wonders on blisters and any shoe rubbing. Duel purpose is always a bonus.

I have had the chub-rub all my life. My mother tells me I came out of the womb with the same thighs I have today as a 31 year old (sorry, tmi). Anyhow, it was horrible as a child going to WDW with the chafing. I was in so much pain. It's a relief to have these products out there on the market. I haven't had any chafing issues since circa 1999.

Have a great trip!!
