We finally, after much debate, decided to book for December 1-Dec 8, 2005. Now we find out that this will is Pop Warner week. We would be staying at a Deluxe resort so I don't think that will be a problem but how busy are the parks? Should we change our dates?

If you are not going to be in a Value or possibly Moderate hotel I wouldnt worry about it. I was in the same hotel as some of this group in Dec of 2004 and while I did see them in the parks and at the bus stops, it certainly didnt impact on my vacation enough to change my plans. Belle

If you save MK for a weekday you should be fine.

We were there during that period last month and the parks were fine. Except for one day, I didn't see any rides with wait times longer than 45 minutes with most listed around 15-20.

I agree with Belle. The biggest impact that Pop Warner has is at the resorts they are staying at. They usually stay at All Stars and either CBR or PO with overflow going to Pop. If you are staying at a deluxe, you should be okay.

I would just try to avoid the resort they are staying at. The parks should be fine.

Pop Warner is kinda like saying Little League for Cheerleaders and Football for kids. I am not aware if they have any other programs, but this was a national meet that was held at Disney with teams who are in Pop Warner Leagues coming in from all over the country. it was pretty crazy as you can imagine!!! Belle

The cheerleaders are bad. We stayed at All Star Resorts for 2 nights and switched out. The girls were running all over all night. It was tough to deal with. I am not saying they were all bad as they were not but as a whole it was a terrible 2 nights.

Pop Warner Football holds their National Championships at the WWoS Complex every December. I don't think they have their dates for this year posted yet as I just checked put their website.
