Would you recommend I just take an uber/lyft?

I used Mears Connect in December.
Not bad overall but I did end sitting on the bus for 45 minutes before we left for the resorts and there were 6 resorts being dropped off and of course mine was the last one and this was pretty late at night.
Then on the way back we waited like 15 minutes for some people running late (would not have happened on DME) and with how long TSA was that morning we basically arrived at our gate in time to get on the plane.

Its just my sister and I with carry on luggage only would you just take an uber/lyft so we can get to the resort faster or use Mears?
And on the way back how many hours ahead of our flight should we get one or should we rely on Mears for the way back?

I say Uber/Lyft all the way. (Install both apps and check pricing in both before requesting one, as surge pricing on one doesn't always translate to the other)

The only thing that would get me back to a shared bus now would be if one of them was able to somehow bring back luggage service ala old DME, or perhaps if I was traveling solo.

Thanks for the reply.
Change in plans though because we decided to drive .
Its weird because we had planned to drive last summer and ended up having to cancel that trip due to my mom's cancer diagnosis (she's doing well now). Then we last minute decided on a quick trip in December and had to fly and then driving never crossed our mind at first with this upcoming summer trip.
But we started looking at flights and we hate having stops and the times of the non stops were meh and we recalled the stress of flying especially due to MCO TSA madness and were like oh yeah remember we had thought before by the time we leave our house to get to the airport and actually lift off we could be in the next state and then if you have stops its more like 5hour travel time instead of 2hr40mins. We also recalled how last time we landed 20 minutes early which the captain and flight attendants seemed like we should be so happy for but then it ended up taking 30 minutes to get a free gate so we walked off the plane late...
I'm fine with flying but when you can avoid it I do haha..
