When it comes to planning I love being a veteran but I really wish I could have the experience of being in the parks for the first time. I've been going since I has a couple months old so I don't remember experiencing them for the first time. THAT I would like to be a newbie at.

I agree. I love being a veteran when it comes to planning. But, I wish I could recapture that feeling of newness as my first trip. (admittedly, that would be hard because I was 6 on my first trip and I am 36 now.)lol

I love being a veteran, but there are times when I get the same thrill as I did when we first came down. Simple things like eating at a new restaruant, or just the sight of the Castle.The music or the screams from the rides. Each time it's new and thank God that next year we get to go with a new set of eyes, our grand kids.. it will be as always magical.

I prefer being a veteran planner but nothing beat planning a trip for our grand kids first time. I got to relive our first trip with our sons.

You're right. My 2 children have done that for me, as well. When we left the last day of our trip in Nov 2010, my seven year old cried to 45 mins as we drove away. Seeing their faces as we see Cinderella Castle makes everything worth it and, like you said, helps me see it with new eyes all over again.
