I'd eat bacon anywhere, including as a meal on the morning of heart surgery, but not for five dollars. Ever.
The stick makes sense. It beats a greasy wrapper.

What better time to eat a bunch of bacon, than before a heart surgery? I mean, you're getting it fixed anyway.

It's actually more of a food allergy type thing. My asthma gets worse with milk and I cough after eating ice cream (but not other cold items), so I only do dairy if I'm 100% asthma symptom free and I limit it even then. I can eat cheese without too much trouble, but I limit it. Going to see if I can eat the vanilla Dole whip without any trouble.

I'm the same way with dairy and asthma. I've had a dole whip with no problems, though I didn't really like it.

Try almond or coconut milk on cereal! There are even vanilla and chocolate flavored ones

Haha. I can't have the pineapple Dole whip since I'm allergic to pineapple, but the orange and vanilla are both pretty good. I think we have it off easy with the dairy. One of my friends is allergic and breaks out if she eats dairy. At least ours isn't really visual. She gets it all over her face. It's awful. I'm taking her with me in January and we're getting some Dole whip just so she can have some ice cream without breaking out!

Can't eat nuts, coconut milk sounds good though. I'll look for it in the grocery store. I've just started on this dairy-free rampage, so any suggestions are welcome! So far I've tried soy milk, vanilla soy milk, and chocolate rice milk.

Try the orange swirled with vanilla. It cuts down on the sweetness as the orange can be a little overwhelming on its own.

Gosh, not being able to eat cheese would suck. That's the one item I refuse to give up. I just limit it.

There are some good vegan cheeses not quite cheese but some are really good. You just have to try and see what you like! Coconut icecream by So Delicious is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given how I liked the coconut syrup in Hawaii, I'm sure I would love coconut ice cream. I'll see if my grocery store carries it. Thanks.

I know! The same company that makes my rice milk makes a dairy-free ice cream bar, so I'm going to look for that. I tend to do better in the summer, so I can probably get away with ice cream in small doses, just have to check my asthma before I do. If my numbers are normal, I should be okay. There's no way I'm going an entire summer without Oreo ice cream. And between WDW and DL, I'll be able to get plenty of Dole whip

I have a Safeway and a Shop Rite near me. I usually go to Safeway. There's a Wegmans about 15 minutes away from home, 5-10 minutes from school.
